With the new Astral Spire, it would be nice to have a respec / refund option, to allow us to try out different ways of spending Star stones.

Sorry to say, but there are no such things as do-overs in live service games such as GoW. The only rare exception are when major changes are done to troops and/or weapons when we have the opportunity to have resources refunded.

When i started GoW unfortunately i uograded sikverglade 1st. Yep not magic lol.
Id love a books refund option.
Jeto did say this feedback had already been passed on and they were thinking about it, but there wasn’t a respec option at launch. Fingers crossed they add one later, but we’ll have to wait and see.

That is the general rule, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Obviously you can’t have do-overs where anything random happens, and it wouldn’t make sense for do-overs to be easily repeatable.
However, changing the name of a guild is a “do-over” of something that isn’t affected by RNG, and we are allowed to do that every 28 days.
I’d suggest that players could be allowed to “do-over” the astral spire, but any do-overs would be limited by time, or by having to pay gems (which can be bought with cash, obviously) to reset the Astral Spire, allowing F2P or paying players to do so. Also, the first do-over could be free.
