Just providing a quick update on this. As some of you have already commented the Gem refund for the Fang Moor Faction has been sent out today.
The new Fang Moor Faction Event with the Potions working will starting tonight at daily reset. This will be happening along side Hero Class event as well.
Thank you all again for your patience on this issue while the development team worked to get this fixed!
OminousGMan - Support Human
And a new event efficiently scheduled within 48 hours of the original issue.

On a positive roll: another instance of a Mod sharing detailed information in a professional manner, which helps customers stay informed as opposed to the radio silence/opaqueness experienced in the past.

You missed the pet issues, where they did not know the behaviour of their own code

Kingdom Pass Battlecrashers MIA Again
While waiting for the eventual proposed resolution by IP2 on the ongoing Vault/Battlecrasher issue, just documenting some noteworthy points.
When reports started coming in (
[Reported] 10th crown of the day doesn't appear ), a mod commented that…
I’m not aware of anything we’ve done that would drop the Kingdom battlecrasher spawn rate too low for
#10 today vs any other day.
It doesn’t appear as though there’s an issue currently and certainly nothing has been changed that would touch battlecrasher spawn rates
…even though a similar situation happened before and was allegedly ‘fixed’:
We have investigated the reports that the Vault event is reducing the chance of a Kingdom Pass Battlecrasher appearing (especially for 9th and 10th encounters with him).
We have released a fix that should improve the chance of him appearing while a Vault Event is running (though there will still be some RNG that may make is seem like he has a lower chance than before).
It is particularly noteworthy that somebody who claims to be among the top20 when it comes to playtime…
…wouldn’t put in the time to actually hunt for that 10th Battlecrasher before claiming that “It doesn’t appear as though there’s an issue currently”
And then we’re left with this:
Assume it’s working as intended unless you see me pop back in this thread.
If anything IS wrong the team will fix it, I may just be slower on the communicating that back to you if I don’t see the ping (need to go afk to grab dinner)
They haven’t popped back in the thread, so either it’s working as intended, or that’s a very long dinner.
In the meantime, neither of the 3 mods have been online for at least a day, therefore once again demonstrating how much customer frustration/satisfaction matters outside of office hours (unless of course there’s a shop issue, which gets resolved promptly so customers can keep spending)
Just to drive this point home:
I’m a computer programmer analyst by trade. If I say something is fixed, I make damn sure it stays that way through subsequent levels of testing. If the same bug happens again in production, it’s not pretty.
We can see what they come back with next week. They can have some rope because, to me, it sounds like they never found the root cause and just boosted the spawn rate temporarily. However, they NEED to be documenting these things. That was the
#1 point drilled into us at college.

I’m not denying there’s problems with the text and I’m certainly not accusing anyone of lying. I’m just saying in a round about way that it doesn’t matter who translates it there will be mistakes because humans aren’t perfect, even with spell checkers and grammarly.
The best process is for CX to report issues with the text when they appear and that feedback to be passed onto the translators to be fixed. Then the whole thing is all of us learn from our mistakes right? Better to have someone experienced who makes mistakes and learns from them than to hire someone new who hasn’t made any mistakes yet and start the process from scratch. I’d also point out that it’s not a one person issue, I don’t feel it’s constructive to call out single people and blame them for it. It’s inaccurate to blame people without knowing who wrote the mistake into the text and also pointing fingers doesn’t actually solve the problem at all.
I will raise the translation issues with the team again to try to get more attention on them.
I think we should try not to derail this thread any further though. I’m happy to continue the discussion in a translation specific thread, but just a disclaimer, try not to criticise people in your posts. If it gets personal it will be against the community guidelines. Always happy to take feedback about game things though.
Just gonna keep this here before it gets edited any further, for reference if needed the next time the Translations issue cycles in.

The above was on 2nd September, and now on 5th September we get the first reports of:
Time to see how long/if the devs react on this despite being so documentedly out of touch with the game & the playerbase…
…in the meantime, advising my guildies to stick to a single craft at most wherever possible.

The week between crafting.
September 13, 2022, 2:30am
When crafting a Gem Dragon egg, each Dragon has the same chance to be created but if you have already crafted one of them, this does not prevent you from being able to craft a second.
This feedback has been passed onto the team and we do have plans for these Gem Dragons in the future! But this is working as intended currently.
By “being able to craft a second” they must be referring to the current “wasting your rare unfarmable resources on a duplicate you didn’t want”
At least a mod acknowledged the issue

To clarify, we prioritise bugs based on how game breaking/blocking they are and how many players are affected.
For a ROUGH example - sometimes the devil is in the details:
No one can open the game at all - everyone drops everything until it is fixed.
A chat portrait is missing but is in player’s collections - can wait.
Vash Dagon sometimes feezes the game but not every time and not for every player - can wait for a business day.
A scheduled event doesn’t start for everyone on Xbox - devs are called in on their day off to fix it.
Guild statue bonuses are being applied but the statue shows a grey bonus (inactive) not a red one (active) - can wait.
Missing rewards doesn’t block gameplay, so will often wait until a business day, although may not be true for every case of missing rewards, there may be specific cases where staff are called in. AKA it’s high priority but not everyone drop everything and come in on a public holiday to fix it because we can retroactively sort it out. But again, it depends on the details.
It can also depend on if it’s a server fix or a client fix. Server fixes can be pushed out to the live game once we’ve tested it. Client fixes need a new game version and go through the entire submission process on each platform so in that case, it would be worked on on a business day because rushing it on a public holiday won’t help get the fix pushed out to players any sooner than if we work normal business hours.
We release new game versions on Tuesdays - Thursdays in the morning here so we have staff clocked in and ready to handle any issues that come up.
We also have an Arena weekend this weekend which is an old event so carries the least risk.
Maybe if we had a large team we could look at having people working on weekends and public holidays, but we have a
very small team so it’s not feasible. So we work to the best of our ability within the time we have and that does mean prioritisation of tasks and issues is incredibly important.
Just keeping this here before it gets edited any further

Thank you for all the feedback that you have provided around the Dungeon Rework that was released in update 6.5. We’re taking that feedback into consideration and we’re happy to share our current plans with you.
The door randomizer had some detectable patterns. We have changed that so it is truly random. Kudos to the Adventurers who spotted this, but sadly those patterns will no longer be there.
We will be sending out some Dragonite to everyone as compensatio…
I remember the feeling when I first realized that the players tend to work for the playerbase (often selflesssly and almost always harder than IP2 ‘TGIF’ staff), while the mods tend to be against said playerbase (this was unequivocably reported to the dev team by the mods, since it is well documented that devs do not check the forums): so we had players developing methods and tools to help players navigate the terrible dungeon design within the parameters given, but mods wouldn’t have it.
You’ll likely come to expect this from them, and adjust expectations accordingly.
Just gonna leave this here before things get edited/deleted.
Here’s where the playerbase worked together to help each other navigate IP2’s terrible design:
Due to IP2’s programming record, I will be using this thread to post fully revealed Daily Dungeons for the foreseeable future, and welcome anyone who may wish to share theirs in the odd chance that IP2’s randomness is not ‘working as intended’.
Not that it matters, but I will also be opening the doors in the same left to right order every day.
1 2 3
4 5 6
This thread no longer needs to exist, right?
We now have direct evidence that the Devs can fix issues immediately, if inspired adequately.
Y’all simply need to reframe “problems” or “broken features” as something that benefits the player.
September 30, 2022, 9:46pm
agree, nothing about: “this will take some time, cause it is a server issue” or “we will look into that problem”.
showing their real face again…

Even if they are claiming they are using a native German speaker to do the translation, you all also understand that that is not very likely. They will never understand these in any language since they can’t in English.

It is not unusual for the authority granted (as opposed to ‘earned’) to moderators to become a tool to justify their personal preferences/shortcomings. It happens in most environments, both online or offline,
i think we should test this.
everyone make me absolute ruler of the world, and then let’s see if i abuse that power.
for science, ofc.
October 1, 2022, 7:52am
we should test this
We just did yesterday for the umpteenth time: the playerbase got the short end of that stick again, with the usual patronizing, promises, and TGIF…

Here the link to his messages. Feel free to find something that deserves a ban:
Just gonna leave this here, with the reminder that sls was pivotal to the existence of the tool that helped so many players tolerate the New Dungeon Design: a tool that simply displayed probabilities based on the rules programmed by IP2.
Assess at will, and remember the next time IP2 wants some $$.
just to keep it updated here too

So I went through the documentedly selectively enforced guidelines, and nowhere did I find that players cannot discuss bans among themselves in forum: by ‘we’, they meant mods/cx/whatevertheywannacallthemselves?
Either way, locking the thread is quite aligned with recent actions aimed at the playerbase though…
