Not sure if anyone has asked this before, but are they just going to keep introducing new Immortals forever? There are already too many—27 so far. They’re basically only useful in PvP battles, and you can only have one on a team, so it doesn’t make sense to keep adding more.
It’s already frustrating enough to miss out on certain Immortals from drop for several PvP seasons, especially when maxed-level ones have had the reduced Burning Mark return.
Right now, there are Immortal versions of 6 Sentinels, 12 Zodiac, and 10 PvP region guardians. I hope they stop at around 40—maybe 4 for each region?
LOL. I’m missing four and don’t care. I’m not even trying to get them as they don’t impress me. I’ll just save my burning marks for something worthwhile.
They should never have added a second immortal each season leveling up the second is a nightmare. I buy the season pass and the featured immortal I get into the 20s but the second one none are higher then 15.
I wish they would take the second immortals and make them primary for upcoming seasons. For example Ossifier was a secondary immortal how about making it the main immortal next season with no new ones. There are more than enough.
This season we have for featured Immortal Kveldulf I don’t know why I am bothering leveling him up with Immortal Glaycia also at Winter’s Reach at level 30. We don’t need two if you can only use one.
We have not had “Featured” Immortals for Southwild (Troglodin felt like it should have had double damage there), Central Spire, or Ancient Khet. These “double” Immortals every season are getting kinda ridiculous (and they are just reusing the artwork of the original Zodiac troops and Underspire Sentinels to make them look all shiny).
I honestly think that if people could just upgrade the Immortals they wanted with burning marks, this game would earn more revenue. After 7 PvP seasons, most people have learned by now how terrible it is to upgrade Immortals. Especially now that we have 27? After the first PvP season, I just gave up…
Yeah id like to put in a request that they change epic burning chest on fridays as well as mondays like they do with soulforge troops. Maybe this would help things a little.
Having “repeat seasons” would actually be really nice, where an existing Immortal is featured. Would be good for those who want to level up that particular Immortal. Though I suppose that’s similar to what epib burning chests are meant to do.
They are useful to newer players like me,struggling to get Myhtics to level up cities etc. Or having to fight these OP characters in PVP, that only long time players seem to have.
So if you are end game, they may not be useful to you. But they are definitely useful to me.
You can only have one Immortal per team, so flooding more Immortals is not as useful as you may think it is. If anything, it’s only making it harder to upgrade the Immortals you already have.
Yes - It was ridiculous that they have 1 for the season and a bonus one every time. Now if Flaming Marks gave only souls for immortals and no Silver Marks or Icons (you know - JUNK) - I may reconsider.
You missed my point entirely. I am not worried about leveling them up. I am worried about leveling up cities. I am worried about getting insta killed in PVP . Immortals address both those issues.
You are talking from and endgame mindset. This whole thread is. Newer players like myself NEED Mythics for things outside of PVP.
People still worry about getting mythics for kingdom power?
Ive never bothered once its really not something to care about once you realize how the game works.
Go get that 1 hp or whatever do you. Go get em tiger.
Kingdom level n power is something you do in stages over a long time. You get to soft caps n then let stuff come to you as you play the game correctly every day.
Stop trying to force things n a carrot on a stick game thats just going to keep moving the goal posts.
Hardly anyone uses immortals outside of pvp other than 2 or 3 of them.
Have fun tho whatever floats your boat you will fit in great!
FFS, Considering leveling cities directly increases your hourly gem collection to be able to buy most in game items… yeah we are still worried about leveling cities.
2 gems per hour, multiplied by (let’s say) 15 tributes per day, multiplied by 365 days a year. That’s 10,950 gems difference.
Almost 11,000 gems over a year, that’s a large enough amount to be worth worrying about. At least, a little.
(If you spent every one of those gems on the daily dragonite offer, you’d have more than enough dragonite to buy a dragon from the forge, for example, though there might be other things you’d rather spend it on.)
Sure, leveling kingdoms isn’t the most important thing ever, but it does matter. Especially in the long run. And that’s just one of dozens of things you get from leveling up kingdoms.
