Basically you can convert lesser Traitstones of the same color into greater ones. Here’s an example with a generic conversion rate. 20x minor - 1 major 25x major - 1 runic 10x runic - 1 arcane or 5x+ 5x - 1 mixed arcane 2x every color arcane - 1 celestial The gives a use to excess traitstones, as well as an rngless way to obtain a specific traitstone you need.

Traitstone Converter Machine

Picture it… A third mini-game feature in Gems of War stationed in the gambling Capitol of BlackHawk where all the pirates come to trade their coveted traitstones for greater and grander treasure. Well, I guess it’s a silver lining that it took as many posts as it did to devolve into bickering. I like the idea of being able to somehow “convert” traitstone types. I’d prefer an actual conversion, like convert 5 minor to 3 minor . I’d have to think there’s some inherent cost to the conversion, but it could easily be gold or gems if you wanted to keep the quantities equivalent. Feature Request - Stone Ascension

Hmm, possibly. It would be a shame as the current Troop ascension requires nothing else spent to increase the rarity. But perhaps if the Traitstones do require some sort of purchasable spending, one gem for Minor ascension, five gems for Major, etc? Ideas for Arcane Traitstones

Yeah… I mean, obviously there is no “objectively correct” answer here, it’s all just subjective. Apparently, Khary thinks one arcane every half hour is just fine, whereas I find it excruciatingly slow. I guess to each their own. As you point out, requiring 20 hours of gameplay to trait out one mythic, to me, is horrible. I enjoy other aspects of the game more, such as PvP and such, so I’d have to spread that 20 hours over probably 40 or more of the stuff I like better to make it palatable at all…

I’d love to see amount of souls gained per match increased for non-valkarie teams, and valkarie soul generation nerfed a little bit back to current with the adjustment. Mini-games Ideas

About that, if I recall, devs said they’d probably turn back to creating mini games after 1.0.9 rolls out. Patience my friend ! It needs to bring something new, it’s roughly the same rules as arena with different rewards. Maybe have all traits unlocked on cards or have one of your cards instead of the hero.
