Also a note for 9.2 if it indeed does release this week, you can be on two different versions while Guild Wars is running - we have done it before. If there are issues in Guild Wars, I’ll be on it as soon as I can when we are back in the studio on Monday, as Friday is a studio closed date - as always, I will try and get them resolved as fast as I humanly can.
But again, we have no information, we are waiting to here back from external groups for any information on if 9.2 is 100% releasing this week. At the moment, it does seem like it is going ahead for the 20th Wednesday AEST
If it does release this week, it would release next week for Switch either way, as they take the longest to get approved and passed through submission.
In before anyone asks, there is no way to get a build to Nintendo any earlier than we do, it’s just in this instance the submission process has been a bit wild so it won’t line up to the other platforms if they do release this week.
Once I get more solid information I will do what I can to share it, I am still chasing up patch notes as well. As soon as I have them, I will get them set up and published ASAP even if the update is not this week.
Doesnt it make more sense, if the power tasks correlates to the convertion rate and not being constant at 300?
I know that the staggered table has to do with the extra stat at power level 5 and that every player should keep the same stat bonus. The big problem is that at powerlevel 9 to 10 is a big hurdle for midgame player and they suffer massive from the downrounding from 319/333 to 300 compared to endgame players with powerlevel 30.
In numbers: +180-10*58+10*100 = 1400 for each kingdom. (In worst case at powerlevel 10, it is even 1580). For all kingdoms we get 38*1400xp = 53200xp .
This isnt a small rounding glitch. If you dont like the odd numbers 333/333/334, then do 300/300/400 or the possibility to reset to powerlevel 1 before convertion.
Thank you.
Excellent news, that the shiny troop tasks is lowered.![]()
Hi Jeto,
thank you on this changes regarding shiny troops.
This looks way more doable now!

I was just thinking about “Shinygate”
Update 9.2 must’ve been on the cards for a while…
can you imagine the panic that the intended future game economy got ruined. There actions make more sense now, as at the time (and now still actually) shiny keys really aren’t worth that much.
I see people actually spending gold marks on shiny keys after the update because we can get dragonite and cursed runes with gems or gnomes, and talismans and monolith sigils were always pretty useless.
It just makes no sense why Crystals are not being offered in the PvP shop, and it proves that the devs have no idea what we actually need.
I’m not a native English speaker. Does this mean there will be ways to trade gold marks for Kingdom XP?
To clarify the answer, there will be no possibility of using your gold marks to buy kingdom XP or crystals or rainbow crystals.
Previous ways to increase kingdom levels (like by books and deeds) have been removed from the PvP Shop.
However, you will find Kingdom XP in the Guild Event shop Tier 6 and the Guild Event rewards (all guild events).
Hope that helps - if not please let me know your native language, and I can try to translate it better for your understanding. ![]()
Hello is there an ETA for the update? Is it in a couple hours or tommorow or sometime else? Thanks
addressed this yesterday
This update is not usual!!! Players have to do some work before it! That’s why we need the exact day and time
Thank you. It doesn’t matter when exactly. I just didn’t wanted to be surprised if it’s today. So I can take my time and it’s save to say it’s not today in the next few hours, but probably tomorrow or later.
Yeah, updates are almost always on a Wednesday AEDT - so at the earliest tomorrow 10am, like they normally are
Again, will post once I have confirmation
The update is a huge one. Will there be devs around at the time it get released in case something goes wrong?
It would release in the morning either way, no matter the day, so that is the start of our day.
The dev team’s day (hunting in-game bugs):

When we are already here to ask questions. So this means that Kingdom Power 0 it gives the first line of new kingdom tasks (Collect 2 Kingdom troops Collect a Kingdom Weapon Complete all Kingdom Quests), Kingdom Power 1 it starts with the second line of new kingdom tasks (Collect 4 Kingdom troops Fully upgrade a Kingdom Weapon Complete the Tier I Trial Battle ) and so on?
Thanks for clarifying. Well, that would be absurd for an update. I don’t think people would want to farm gold marks anymore if they removed the Books of Deeds. And with fewer active players, PvP rewards would become even worse since you need active players as opponents. It sounds like a pretty much dead game to me.
