I think cursed runes content are something that takes time to finish, not something that can be done over a week

I’m ok with it taking time, but if you do the math based on the average I’ve gotten, to max the forge get the mythic, pet and weapons not crafting anything else is 1040 runes, in 2.5k battles over the last 2 days I’ve gotten 26 runes. That’s over 80000 battles to craft that stuff and that’s during a “boosted event” not to mention if u want to craft anything else. I’m fine with grinding it out but 80000 battles takes a lot of people a year or longer again going off a boosted events rates. Outside of a boost what 160000 battles? There’s a different between a grind and something that’s just flat out bad rates. Just my thoughts tho as someone that already grinds way more than I should and thinking about people with full time jobs and families that will never get this completed. Luckily the mythic is nothing special nor the weapons from what I can tell and hopefully we get the Broken Spires faction for another non cosmetic pet to max so power levels are not held up by cosmetic event pets to get the kingdom to 20

Use gems or you will never upgrade forge. I started out doing same as you before realizing my mistake. I did half and half and regret that. I had no idea that they would be this rare even with the supposed increase in drop rate.

These are going to end up being redundant in a while. I’m patient enough to not worry about immediately upgrading my soulforge to 20.

Stop farming, they just haven’t increased Gnome Curse’s presence! If they had, it would be known!

Haven’t seen much of that “increased chance”
If anything I’d say it was a decreased chance to see any gnomes at all.
Done 864 explores ( screenshot to prove it) and all I encountered was that battle crasher and some other gnomes(mostly useless soul gnomes) but NO cursed gnomes.
So now I’m wondering what the “normal” drop rates will be once the “temporarily increased chance” is over??? 
And before anyone makes a remark, those were ALL explore 12 fights

Just here to add that i’m irritated over the same thing everyone else is. Haven’t seen a Cursed Gnome outside of GAP yet after a whole lot of games. I’m not sure how acquiring the new things is even supposed to be possible without burning through gems at this point.

6h après mon post, que du farm Explo 1, je rencontre beaucoup de gnome ( Trésor, Âme, Joyaux, Gloire, quelques Gnomes Chanteur, mais pas un seul Gnome Maudit, pas un seul ! C’est sûrement mon compte qui est Maudit me dira-t’on !!! Pfff… 
P.S: Vous croyez vraiment qu’on a que ça à faire, farmer farmer et farmer sérieusement ???

It’s better not to give a boost than to give a boost no one can notice. Player base will play to find something not there and get more pissed off than ever. If they know going in that they may not find anything then that’s one thing but to expect it because of the celebration post is another. They see it as nonsense and will think you are not telling the truth.

Too bad there isn’t a way to farm email instead. Maybe they’ll be in adventure boards or something someday on par with war coins.

I think they increased the rate they drop from using vk’s by mistake, instead of increasing the rate in explore. I’ve been using vk’s today and 13 cursed gnomes have dropped so far from cedric. WAY more than the other common gnome drops.
