Well, this is basically my minimum each first day of the week and i don’t have the high gold requirements of top guilds. So assuming that i still need 910 seals for the cap i spread it in some more pvp battles and Minor Red traitsones/Souls farming.
Edit: Oh right, i forgot that after level 1000 it’s slower to gain levels…
Yeah don’t know what is the big deal we will still be able to get mythic from other chest, personaly i just want the guardian since it’s the only place we can get them
Another question about the Guild Seals: I realize we can only earn 1500 per week, but do you lose them all if you don’t click and cash them in before the reset? Say if I only earn 1000 can they carry over until I hit the 1500 limit then cash in? Or even wait until all members hit there 1500 then everyone cashes in within the same day or two? I must be overthinking this
Ok thanks! Should have read the initial post again! Hmm that could open up some opportunities for Guild member coordination to perhaps wait and hold on to your seals until everyone has the max then all cash in at once. Would take herding 30 people but could provide to be a strategy to always use your Guild Keys on the 45K chests, especially during new Mythic weeks (if they even drop in Guild Chests).
Why should everyone hold their seals and use them on the same day? The weekly guild seal counter accumulates the total regardless of if they claim them on Monday or Sunday. Otherwise, it’s up to the individual when he uses his personal seals on chests.
I think he meant to say that if a given week the guild couldn’t reach the 45K seals everyone could keep those for the next week or so in order to cash out the better rewards from the last level of the chest.
However, Sirrian’s quote stated " (so you can’t stack guild seals for collection from week to week, but you never lose any that you’ve earned)." So, it seems to imply you won’t be able to do that sort of workaround. I could be interpreting it wrong. It would be nice to get some clarification from a dev.
Let me explain it better. You keep your seals, that you can convert into guild keys. But your gains, the personal cap for the seals, will reset as well as the guild cap.
Example: This week i got my 1500 seals like all the other members of my guild except two, because they are on vacation, no big deal. All the others will keep the seals and wait for the next week when everyone will get their 1500 seals, again, and the guild will reach the 45K seals for the best chests. Me and the other 27 guild members will have 3000 seals, and the two that went on vacation will have 1500 each to open the top guild chests.
“can’t stack guild seals for collection” means you can’t leave them unclaimed (i.e even if you don’t press “claim all” they are still claimed by weekly reset), but the ones you claim are obviously yours to keep, as is clear from the context there.
When you do a partial quote like that, it can indeed be misleading, but the solution for that is to simply not do that.
I just realized, doesn’t cashing in Guild Seals also earn you and the rest of the members Guild Keys? Up to 75 keys a week according to a post that Sirrian made. So if we hold on to our seals for over a week those are Keys that remain unclaimed. I’m sure all this will sort out when we get real experience with it…
I realize that. It wasn’t the point I was making hence the partial quote. It’s already been established and agreed upon that earned personal seals are yours to keep.
My point was that once you claim the seals (or the week ends and they go to your mail), they are yours like any other currency. I think the collection tally will start anew when the next week starts. So, Emo’s plan wouldn’t work. That’s how I understood that snippet of the quote.
On the week with two members at vacation we couldn’t reach the 45K seals, so waiting for the reset on the next week having everyone getting their 1500 seals would allow us to open the best kind of chests since everyone was able to reach the cap for that week.
