I haven’t found any obvious problems with this on the server.
Could it be that the Glory Keys came from either a completed Guild Task, or from a VIP reward?

I had a strange feeling about my memory too, but now as other mention more likely some real discrepancy. If you have logs, check my acc for source of keys, IMO I had hundreds of glory and thousands of golds added. Like conversion run several times or really “doubled overnight”.
I play on steam (also on iphone, but problem on steam).
Every now and then it crashes.
The game was being played full screen, and in this case I was playing a treasure map. Usually it happens in PVP.
I make a match, and then the screen shifts toward the bottom right. I can no longer do anything.
I’m a bit sad because I was doing well. This was gonna be the mutha payload; I’m sure of it!!
Hey you can actually see which match I was making. I was moving the silver left.It was about to match three silver into three gold, into three brown chests. into three green chests. and then I was gonna get a whole screen of movement, five of a kind. Things were really about to take off.
I feel so… violated. (I doubt anybody will get that off the cuff reference to the screenshot)
I did not realize it till Bluedog mentioned keys doubling in guild chat as I was spending most of my keys and an added 50-75 keys did not raise any flags. So I did not use any glory keys the last 2 days, and they are indeed doubling with the daily bonuses. Keys were the same when I went to work, when I get home and collect all the daily stuff, glory keys have doubled. More then it is possible with guild tasks.
We get quite a few keys from guild rewards but I don’t think we get 2000 per day as I got yesterday
Found a new(?) bug :
I got a new weapon : “Runic Blade” at 56 wind / nature mastery.
It’s text reads “[…] Gain 2 Attack, Life and Magic if an ennemy dies”.
Turns out I got 7 of each for every kill I made with the weapon.
EDIT : I tried it again, it actually gives 5 of each no matter if an ennemy dies or not, and an additionnal 2 if they die !
Okay - I’ve adjusted some code on the server… and that should hopefully stop any problem with the extra Glory Keys.
I’ve also fixed the bug on Runic Blade and deployed that out.
Thanks for the heads-up on those issues, folks.
It’s now almost 10pm on Christmas Eve, so I’m going to call it a day (and go play some games!). You all have a great holiday!
seen this on my comp as well
On Android, still only displaying as VIP rank two, despite having purchased the starter and intermediate packs back in July. Unless that is the correct point to dollar ratio anyway.
@Sirrian I am normally not one to try to pin game devs down on bugs, but these key bugs are really bad. They are messing with the player economy and player power levels in real and significant ways. I don’t know if you guys have a plan to deal with / correct this or not, but it is really starting to feel like something is needed.
First we had a re-conversion of gold keys which caused everyone to gain gold keys equal to the iron keys they had. While on the surface this was equal, it greatly favored the older players who were able to leave a greater number of keys laying around. Decisions were made on the conversion rate of 1 iron = 1 glory + 2 gold. That conversion rate ended up being 1 iron = 1 glory + 4 or 5 gold (I can’t remember how many days the bug was in play). This invalidated many of the decisions made. I know if the conversion rate had been published as it ended up being I would not have spent as many keys pre-update.
Now we have glory keys left unused overnight doubling. This one doesn’t even have the semblance of being fair. Only keys left unused are doubling which means depending on your normal playtime / habits you might not benefit from this bug at all. I know I certainly have not. This one doesn’t even disproportionately benefit older players which means even the personal rationale of “well I guess they deserve it” doesn’t even apply. On top of that glory keys are not some low power resource like gold keys are. They have the potential to drop some of the best rewards in the game.
I don’t know what you could possibly do to fix this, but it really feels like something needs to be done. Perhaps a scrub of the logs of people who both earned and spent keys in the same day being rewarded the earned amount over again. This would put them more in line with those who received free doubling. Sadly any blanket “apology resource grant” wouldn’t really fix anything as those who have already benefited would benefit again.
To be clear, I am nowhere near some “you guys suck” level. Bugs can be difficult to track down, and in these cases making things right is almost impossible. I am however, very disappointed that such important economy breaking bugs were allowed through not just once, but twice. I am sure my disappointment is something you will shed copious tears over. But I still think it warrants being voiced.

I think I found an error in the Summoner Level Up screen. It says he will get +11 Magic from level 1 to Level 17.
If it was true, everyone would use him.
My level 15 summoner has level 13 magic. Looks like this is normal.
Oops, sorry. So this probably means that Summoners’ magic only improve the sumoned Ghoul level.
Giving +15 Life to all allies seemed a bit too much
Thanks for your reply, and ignore my previous message. It was a misunderstanding.
Are you sure this is fixed? Over 300 gems for one common, one rare and one ultra-rare seems kinda ridiculous… Unless this price is intended, which I highly doubt, you should maybe look at it again. (Iam playing on steam btw)
Actually, that sounds like it’s potentially correct.
300 Gems = 3,000 Souls.
Given our 45% discount, that equates to 5,454 Souls worth of levelling required to get them to 15
The cost to level those 3 troops to 15 (if they are all level 1) would be 7,465 Souls… so assuming you have spent a couple thousand Souls on them already, it’s in the ballpark.
@Razlath. Honestly, we’d have rather not had those bugs too, but they happened (as bugs do), and we could only deal with them as quickly as we were able. They have passed through the economy now, and any rollback we tried simply wouldn’t make any sense. We now have test procedures in place to catch similar issues in future updates. It’s had a small effect for some players, and a mid-to-large effect for a very few.
One thing to keep in mind, not EVERYBODY telling people about how they profited is telling the truth. Our support guys investigated the two complaint cases we received where players had been bragging to their guild about how they had gotten 10’s of thousands of keys… in both cases the players saying they had the keys were lying.
Upon further investigation, we discovered most people used their keys immediately upon 108’s release, gathering Traitstones, so that mitigated the problem, and also made it take longer for us to realise what had happened.
So, to sum up, we understand your concerns. We were pretty disappointed in ourselves too, as would be any professional dev team. This stuff sneaks out in games of all sizes from monstrous affairs like Diablo III (Season 1 levelling exploits + the Bloodshard cheat), to big MMOs like Neverwinter (with its famed Caturday), to smaller affairs like Gems of War. The best any dev team can do when it inevitably happens is to fix it as quickly and efficiently as possible, minimize the damage, keep players informed, and improve their test procedures so it doesn’t happen again.
Didnt realize the cost leveling up to 15 was included… that makes more sense now.
would the price go down if i level my troops to level 15?
Yes - it’s based off the Souls you need to get the troops to level 15 from whatever level they currently are.
If you have ALL troops at 15 already, it just offers you the 3 cards for a single Gem.
