What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:
I expected about 20 to 24 vault keys during my GaP run.

What happened was zero vault keys during my GaP run.
Details:
I crafted a GaP 40 mins ago after reset and the Underspire issue. After playing for a few minutes I noticed that there wasn’t a single vault key drop (neither regular nor Epic Vault Key). My team was Sister Superior, Dust Devil, 2x Ironhawk played in Level 1 Explore of the Kingdom Wild Plains.

How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?
I only noticed it today.

Steps to make it happen again
Craft a GaP event.

ps. The graphics are much better now and also the battles seem faster in general. This is much appreciated!

Vault keys only have increased drop rates on vault weekends, which was last weekend. A GaP doesn’t make them drop keys, it just makes you encounter lots of them.

Outside of Vault Events, gnomes only have a 1% chance to drop a vault key, not getting a single one during a full GaP is quite likely. If you want vault keys, play during Vault Events, then the drop chance is roughly 10 times higher.

Why are there so many bug reports on normal mechanics that aren’t broken at all?

Because the game does a very poor job at explaining those normal mechanics in-game?
