What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:
When retreat from a battle in guild war, or program close / crash during such battle, the game treat it as a loss, correctly. No score gained, not be able to advance to next site, etc.
However, that loss is not logged into rooster page. Therefore number of battles done that day reports fewer, as if the player didn’t do their best in the day. That creates headache for guild management.

Retreat in a guild war battle.
