Witchfinder is one of the new troops during the battlepass and her spell is really complicated for no reason. You have a choice to reduce a skill on an enemy of your choosing, and can either choose between it doing double damage to an undead OR a demon.
Why not just have its effect double on both demons AND undead? It seems needlessly complicated doubling the text and adding an extra click to pick which type you want it to double. Some players suggested when I asked that it was a potential risk to do 4x damage to undead/demons but there are only four of those and I feel like that can be easily corrected.

Totally agree. I pointed this out the moment I saw it, but got no reply. It doesn’t make a lick of sense, though.

Part of the problem is that “choose” spells, by design, state the “choose” part up front (to clearly distinguish them from random-effect spells).
Alternative: Why can’t the spell just target both? Compare:
- (Epic) Gravitas: (Magic+3) damage + extra effects on Undead AND Daemons
- (Rare) Sister Superior: Dispel+Stun Undead AND Daemons
- (Ultra) War Cleric: (Magic+6) damage to all Undead AND Daemons
- (Ultra) Witchfinder: (Magic+1) from a random stat to your choice of either Undead OR Daemons
Notice that War Cleric, of the same rarity tier and Mana cost, obviously outperforms Witchfinder where damage is concerned.
