Who's Afraid of the Dark?

You don’t have to use her.

Yeah, i tested it already, but i did have ti test to see how it works, so that’s why i wanted to point out that the objective is poorly written.

Yeah it is very poorly worded this week.

Excellent. I’ve just started farming arcane dark traitstones for Elemaugrim, so this event is great timing…

Was just testing this, and yes, Draakulis is definitely in there.

These are the spell steps:

  1. Cleanse the target
  • Create 8 Skulls.
  • Give the target Magic+2 Attack.
  • Deal 1 normal damage to the target (supposedly to remove barrier)
  • Deal Magic+2 true damage to the target
  • Barrier the target.

That means 2 things: the attack is gained first and independently of life lost, and barrier will not save you from the true damage.

Anyone know if DeathKnight class count as an Ghulvanian troop for 25% bonus skills is working now? And if, how much damage will the Crescendo do with this class? Thanks

usually the hero gets the bonus, with the proper class. My DK this time does not get that, tho.

yeah! new kind of spell! more control over my own troop stats. hope to see more like it. useful when play against something that is boosted by enemies life like shadow hunter. but i even more interested how this is useful in Hydra team without risking hydra being a tank.

A member of our guild also got draak from event keys.

Even works well with hydras colours.
Will try this in my Wild Plains team I had a while back.

Always good to use Hydra, now they just need to buff the third trait😁

I have never tested Hydra before, but if you find a team you think is worthy, I will try.

The Wild Plains team I played about with was

Hydra
Gorgon
Soothsayer
Sunweaver

Sooth and Gorgon are able to generate mana for sunweaver which use to pump up Hydra and an emergency heal if needed.
Sometimes swapping Gorgon for The Bonecrusher guy, forget his name.

Will dust it off.

Hydra has always suffered in that it’s trait’s damage doesn’t scale. When it first came out, it had Jinx, and attacks didn’t really get above 20.

The best teams I have had with it rely on Entagle, since Hydra’s trait will still trigger. I’ve not tried it with Elemaugrim yet.

If you need to enjoy yourself for a long time, give:
Hydra
Green Seer
Giant Spider
Loyalty

a try. You won’t get a wee, not so wee, but a really friggin 'uge Hydra. Then you’ve got to let it take damage so you can win.

Personally I have had some fun with

I’m… afraid of the dark (without you close to me)

I am the Elven Bard
I play my melody
It makes you want to cast a spell
Elwyn has got a lute, too
He always plays his chord
Don’t be jealous, he’s just my friend
But when I listen to them…
Those Screaming Skulls from afar

I’m… afraid of the dark without you close to me…
I’m… afraid of the dark without you close to me…

I went out to the Forest of Thorns
And met with Lady Anariel
As she summons her Elven Star
Dark Priestess, you just ran like hell
Then you met with Draak, who made you who you are
And these were the worst screams… I’ve ever heard

And I’m… afraid of the dark without you close to me…
I’m… afraid of the dark without you close to me…

You won’t be happy like this,
So listen to me play
You won’t be happy with that curse
Why do you still live there
In that bleak, ghastly kingdom?
We all belong in Silverglade
Why do they keep shrieking,
when they make your friends strong?
I’ll have to call The Silent One…
