The new font is terrible. It hurts my eyes to read it.

I do have this feedback noted, I know and I get it.
I also have a QOL for Font settings for both accessibility reasons and just customisation reasons.
That being said, I don’t know if it will be changed, I can just pass on everything I have.

I like them too, not only are they easier to read but they add a little medieval touch to the game

I think having font options between at least the new 2 fonts and the original ones would be awesome
But it would be a considerable change to implement so both options work everywhere in the game and can switch between the two easily

are you talking about a Titles or smaller text descriptions or both?
Don’t think players who enjoy the new font or do find it easier to read need to get too deep into sharing all the specifics.
Especially if there is a chance everyone is going to just turn on them for liking the new fonts.

I just want to know why there’s the difference in perception. The holywars like that was within the previous gloal UI changes. If it’s just new and we need a time to get used to it - it’s fine, but i’m not really sure. The word - “i like it” - it’s personal feeling and need no explanation - we are all different, but “it’s easy to read” - it can be axplained. For me - the title fonts looks fine, maybe nice, but mostly fine, and if it’ll stay with us - i can deal with it freely. On the other hand small and unreadable text - it may be only my problem with astigmatizm or something and i just want to know all sides of the coin)

Oh yeah for sure, I just want to get in ahead in case someone who does like it and can read it, might not feel like the forum currently is a chill place to share that opinion.

I actually like the semi all caps font. Kinda wish there were an option to use that font on everything instead of there being 2 fonts.
I don’t hate either one of them but I wish we could do everything on 1 font or everything on the other.

My opinion (which is “outside looking in” due to Switch) is that this font is a good choice for most titles & headers – but definitely NOT for small body text (aside: I play primarily handheld so font size is definitely a concern), and perhaps the game’s UI doesn’t have a proper distinction between the two text classes yet. And like it or not, changing that WOULD be a significant project.

I don’t know why they insist on changing things only to make them worse. The new font is less readable then the old one. Net loss. I even like the font in general just not in this game because it’s more difficult to read the cards.
They should spend time on things that would actually be an upgrade or positive to the game. Like allowing your pvp teams to be saved and not have to be readded. I would actually play the game more if I didn’t have to log on each week and have to put my pvp teams back together again. Once you’ve set it for that combination it should save your team until you want to make a change. They lost a paying customer for the pvp pass because I don’t pvp as much anymore since I have to constantly add my monolith and pvp teams and it pisses me off each time I go to do a monolith or pvp battle only to find an empty team.

Up until this update , I’ve not been able to read the font in this game. on my phone.
The weekly event, with scores of blue and red on black in the old font meant I had to screenshot and expand the picture in gallery to see who scored what. This new font now means I can read the scores without screenshotting. That’s a huge upgrade for me.
I do seem to be Iin the minority here and I’m fine with that. Just wanted to share my experience with this font.

Personally, I like this font, it reminds me of the very first (and nicest) style that was in GoW.

Same. It just looks to me especially the mobile players has problems reading the smaller letters/texts in game, but that can be fixed with less bold letters.
