Thanks for helping me and others out.
mine team was something simlar, when the 4th battle was double Takshaka I saw no other options than play the 3rd battle two times more.
None of the streamers mentioned the teams i posted to my guild.
No one has mentioned, possibly the best mana generator in the kingdom(spirit of rage)…
So either people are gate keeping their best teams or everyone is sleeping
The best players is not always the streamers, sometimes it is players like you. Thanks for the team share, much appreciated!
Hope it helps with this horrible restriction.
Indeed, I did quite some changes, I added Spirit of Rage and Ruthless Defense to my team. Sacrified Urskula and rather use Torben and Bieska.
Good call!
Using both exploders will fill up your damage dealer quick.
The fast start from urskula only helps if you can kill the enemy QUICK. After that the value drops significantly.
Totally, Torben is a game changer, you just hope he doesnt transform the first time you use him and all good.
Agreed, but the transforms all have value too, so not completely useless.
One benefit of the transformation is that the new troop is full armour and health again, so if your torbern is hurting there’s that.
Yeah, dual transformers increases aligments by the double.
My friends…this is the light.
Urska Druid is your only realistic chance to loop and disable the enemy with Elementalist. Enraged Kurandara is up front to make sure that Torbern can transform the
gems from the dust storm to deal damage.
This is probably the hardest restriction yet, but the developers do not see where we are coming from and do not care. I have already lost once this Guild Wars, but it is fine. That little Panda is trying his hardest to make it work, and I have found value in a troop that is underappreciated.
But if Urska Druid misfire just once you may end up losing the whole match. High rewarding, yes, but also high risk.
Then you are at a higher risk of creating a chaotic board with explosions from King Mikhail or Hero. And from my experience, that was less reliable. This GW restriction is based off a good start and luck. Nothing more. You can get completely annihilated so quickly, and have so few options.
Like others have mentioned numerous times over and over. Remove kingdom restrictions from Guild Wars. They are not balanced, and anyone who finds these experiences enjoyable has a serious problem.
Or maybe they just like to be stressed out and miserable.![]()
Also, how I miss the good old days Kingdom troop buff/rework days. They were rare, yes, but they did happen.
This faction is not meant to go against meta lol
Darkborne has discovered the secret weapon in this restriction - Urska Druid. I suspect a lot of players will dismiss her as just a bounty troop, but she works great with Elementalist, stacking status ailments on the enemy team and generating a lot of green mana.
I have her in slot 1, with Ruthless Defence, Enraged Kurandara and Urskula. With a +2 brown +1 green banner (she adds another +1 green), the team gets rolling fast. One brown match with or without surge gets ready to cast, then the board fills with green and the others are soon ready.
The enemy team quickly gets stunned, entangled and frozen.
I’ve gone 15-0 so far, with even the dreaded triple Takshaka / Essence of Evil falling fairly easily.
@Theoden I am glad that at least one person understands, and I am trying to help people get through this dreaded experience. Without Urska Druid, you relying on a lot, and I mean a lot of luck and a good starting board. And then you are going to explode the board, try wish gems, or rely on other methods? Please. If you have 30 people in your guild, good luck with rolling the dice on so many variables.
And I had no choice but to roll the dice on Urska Druid when I casted him and lost. It was the enemy’s second turn, and I was unable to get any 4+ gem matches to disable any of the Takshakas. The wildcards spawning on the map would have most likely filled at least one of them up anyway given the
and
gems on the board. About half the players in my Guild had already beaten those teams, and I knew the odds were against me. Life happens.
People need to put aside their own pride with restrictions like these and realize that your loss could mean that two or more of your friends will prevail. This is what Guild Wars should feel like. Unity. Difficult battles that do not rely on brain-dead, auto click win buttons. We have enough of that garbage already, and it has corrupted the minds of most players.
And in my own personal opinion, Urskaya has some of the least used troops in the entire game, and is probably in the bottom 5 with some of the worst troop and weapon selections. So one of the worst restrictions is over, and we move on. As gamers, we are much like athletes. Forget about the bad experiences, learn from them, and try to do better the next time. Otherwise, you just end up being miserable in the pursuit of perfection.
But I need to calm down, relax, think things over, and relax my mind. Overconfidence has been the downfall of many people and can interfere with the way I process things, so I will take a break next week to flush out my brain.![]()
I regret not going with your advice, I paid the ultimate price today, possibly, with two losses to stupid goblins. Tomorrow I will try my luck with your team.
