Before the next vault weekend, I’m trying to get my mythstone total up, to see how high I can go. Just curious where everyone else is, and if you’re trying to get it high or not?
So far, I’m at 541, before fighting the mythic:
I did this back in 2022 when I was trying to get the hoard mimic. It didn’t work then, but I have since got him.
Most I ever stacked up was 800 or 900.
Prior to the 9.2 update, I used to chase the lantern regions relentlessly. Now that doing so gifts me an excess number of mythstones per cycle of E12, I’ve stopped doing that. Because I don’t want to have to deal with mythic boss battles and crappy token pulls during a Gnome-A-Palooza on vault weekends, and that’s what is likely to happen if I let my stock build up.
So, since then, I’ve been trying to “straddle” the 50 mythstone line. If I’m below, I hit a lantern region in E12. If I’m above, I pick whatever non-lantern region is singing to me that day. Although I’ll probably try to spend that number down closer to “10” between now and Thursday in anticipation of the upcoming vault weekend and my plan to drop a GaP at first opportunity on Friday.
I had 900+ this weekend. Currently at 300 because I just started farming one kingdom instead of going after the lanterns. Easier that way.
Like Zot, I did have over 2000 with saving the bosses in each kingdom to get the hoard mimic, but unlike him, I did get it day 1.
Why do you do that? What’s the point?
There’s no point. It’s just funny because now you can get over 100 mythstones per run, which will put you well over.
