Did you play the battle and check for the trophies actually received? There have been a lot of visual glitches since 4.3.5 (like Revenge/Rival battles not displaying), but the bugs haven’t actually affected the rewards received.
I would get a screenshot of before and after, to check for sure.
That looks like Casual PvP. You only get one trophy for Casual PvP.
