Hi folks ,
I’d like to start off by saturday that yesterday was a terrible day in krystera.
A tremendous amount of goodies were sent out in mail and grew as the day went on.
So those at reset pulled a little bit of rewards and those who logged on later got over hundreds of thousands of gems
They rolled the day back once it was out of control and many players who spent hours on the game that day have lost everything.
We have a thread going for them to read about all the time and effort players have lost.
So please use that for that.
I’d like to use this thread as some ideas on how they can properly compensate abd reimburse our day lost evenly among all players.
Please keep it civil, respectful and kind. If we help them sort this out we may just get what we want and need.
Let’s stay positive here and just be glad the game wasn’t shut off all weekend and didn’t happen on a vault event or guild wars. Things could be far worse.
Thanks for reading and again this is for what we think is fair compensation for our day lost in the game.
@Jeto I know the dev team will take this matter seriously and I have faith in you all. Please don’t let us down.
Ive been level 15 for quite some time I meant the money id spent in general and was having a laugh. Honestly though I hope the game fails after this, they do not deserve your time and money its a shambles. Even though I said I wouldn’t spend again I actually bought the library pass, shame on me
Yeah, I can see a week long gnome event as something that potentially can happen. And people can then control how much they want to play to get the resources that comes with the event.
As you and pretty much everyone have said beforehand. It will never get fair, so lets find something that at least some of the players will look forward to, more or less, as it is impossible to please everyone.
I suggest a “Double Week”, whereas we get a week of double the AB/PvP/Dungeon/Explore/etc rewards; double Sigils for Underspire, Underworld, Weekly Event; double Vault Rewards..
Time is the one thing players can’t get back. Many people likely completed delves, secured their final dragon, or spent hours grinding—only to have that progress erased.
Going forward, a practical rule of thumb for players should be this: if anything unusual happens in-game, it’s better to sit the day out rather than risk losing time and effort.
Personally for me, beyond in game compensation, what’s equally important here is acknowledgment. The situation warrants a clear apology and greater transparency from the dev team. Players invest significant time into the game, and that commitment deserves to be treated with respect—not overlooked or brushed aside.
@Eika has a great solution. Thinking about a gem compensation I deserve 25 gems for not losing anything but playtime while the servers were down, whereas someone else got badly hit and would deserve 1k gems, so as they will not be giving a different amount of gems based on the amount of pain a week long vault event would do the trick nicely!
I spent most of the day recruiting for our various guilds and didn’t play as much as usual coz I had a feeling something might happen like this…but by a stroke of absolute genius they rolled the guild rosters back too so even my many hours recruiting were wasted as all my guild rosters are as they were at reset yesterday….absolutely fuming.
With regards to fair compensation…..not going to happen. 50 gems as usual I reckon and they could really take the piss by giving us some ingots too. I had 3 perfect dungeon runs yesterday and didn’t spend a single gem that they ‘gave’ us.
A day totally wasted, can’t be arsed to recruit again and Ill be surprised if we even get a genuine apology.
Until they fix the drop rate of Cedric in vault and update the rewards, I couldn’t care less about vault events. They need to do something that actually compensates endgamers too. Besides, proper compensation shouldn’t require us to play more to get it.
We used to have community weeks, where the adventure boards every day had rare resources, and the calendar gave rare stuff, etc.
Something like that would go a lot further than a handful of gems. People lost their time, something that can’t ever be replaced. And rewards like gnome week are good, but they require you to give up more time to get rewards. And they’ve nerfed what you get from gnomes during a GAP, so I don’t see that as a good payback.
Give players a bunch of free stuff, to compensate everything they likely would have earned by a full day of playing, like diamonds and dragonite from dungeon, star stones from adventure board, etc, and then have a week of rare resources replacing normal rewards for stuff.
And a full, IN-GAME apology, expressly stating they messed up and they’re sorry.
One of the biggest losses to the players will be their confidence in the devs. How can they trust that there won’t be some other bug and another rollback. How can they trust playing the game, when they don’t know if they might lose all their progress. They need to set this right, or players will lose confidence in the entire game.
