I think someone like to make Dev’s live easy by giving them answers on silver plate. Let them decide if and what they want to do to make it up to us. And by that action we see how valuable we are for them, otherwise they will use that what we want for an excuse and sweep all the mess under the carpet.
They also need to award every player 24 tributes. Take a best estimate of what an average tribute would give, and compensate them 24 times that, for the lost 24 hours.
Because many of us were collecting them, or would have collected them during the time the game was down, and all of that was lost, too.
Everyone can decide for themselves. Nobody are forced to play a gnome event duh-uh..
How about a week, of every battle in every event. Just being gnomes.

Compensation should starts with an apology and hiring a competent staff and quality assurance team to ensure this will not happen again.
Second they should re-pay two days worth of gems for each player.
third compensation for players time and work by giving a free pass of either the upcoming campaign or season. Or something similar.
otherwise it will be an insult to players.
So if you dont play. You get no comp. See how your sudgestiin isnt valid. Duh uh

My sudgestion is very fair.
They should compensate based on gameplay, not one just blanket compensation. Some people didn’t play at all yesterday so they were unaffected. Some played all day so they deserve more than just- “here’s your 5 gems” for making you lose all progress.
Running a special event requires people play even more. At this point, I’m sure there’s many others who are going to be gun shy going forward with playing. Why would anyone want to put forth so much time, money and effort, to have it all negated? Then to be slapped in the face with 5 gems to make up for it, is just downright disrepectful.
If they came out and said- “Look, this is going to take some time to figure this all out and it’s not something we can do overnight, but everyone will be appropriately compensated once it’s sorted,” I’d not be upset and have much more respect for them.
I’ve been there, I’ve had to rollback a database because something broke. I tried to make it as seamless as possible for the customers though and apologized profusely for the error. And these weren’t people spending real money in the system.
I personally did not spend real money yesterday but I’m frustrated on behalf of those who did. I did, however, spend time and that is also frustrating. If they aren’t going to do individual comp based on gameplay, then the only acceptable alternative is to give everyone a ton of resources…which would negate the rollback they just did.

At this point a ton of suggestions will be fair, but we kinda know if it is realistic to happen or not, already.

Or why play, when rollback could happen again at any time in the future.
My guild for one. Are now weary and depressed.
And wont be playimg this weekend for a couple of magor orbs from crap rewards. That any vk gives.

I clearly stated what I want. How realistic it is, that is a different question.
Yes, I must admit - sincere apologies would be a proper Sci-Fi. But everything else easily can be done!
You see, gnome events are outdated and rewards are at the level 3 out of 10.
Gnome events never ever will compensate real money purchases and time. The refund must be done at the highest game’s currency price - currently dragonites and mainly new stones!
Gems also should be only as “a side, not main meal”.
Hopefully that makes sense.

Last I read from our guildchat was that our TOD scout and guild had lost al the levels gained yesterday, we now back at around 38, and she put us up to 56. It may not bother many out here, but that is a lot of time and dedication, and yeah some finds modes addictive even if they rewards or payout is lows in some of the events. I feel sorry for her.
