What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:

I was playing a delve (not during faction event), Dark Court level 500 all faction team. I only had one troop left and was about to attempt the Dark Temple room (Spider Queen, Dark Maiden, etc.). When I clicked the big FIGHT button, I saw a strange loading icon appear with an image of Skeleton and a red exclamation point. After a couple seconds the game shut down.

When I came back I was credited with a loss (which I probably would have achieved anyway).

How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?

Unity crash.

I just had this crash happen again. It was again in Dark Court level 500 all faction team. It was my first battle and only my second or third turn. I attempted to click on a gem to match it and the game froze, then that loading screen popped up (though this time it was the Halloween version of the skeleton) and the game crashed and the delve attempt returned as failed.
