Is it odd that I feel like I have better luck spamming the 1 key button for Event chest Legendaries than 50 at a time?

Not at all, you have no guarantee to get a Legendary out of 50 chests not even a better chance by doing so. But you can sometimes pull the desired Legendary using less than 50 keys.

It’s boring, but i got Magnus in 32 chests so i saved 18 keys that would be wasted if i would opt out for opening 50.

I really like how Magnus works. High-variance, but good payoff for the risk.

When you get good luck, he hands out stun/silence and your enemies don’t have a chance. He deals damage and death like nobody’s business.

When you get bad luck, he’s a brick and does nothing.

It’s the perfect troop for early/mid-game players that don’t have a stable of legendaries. It lets you get around matches you have no business winning sometimes.

You mean aside from inflicting poison and disease to all enemies and dealing above 35 damage to all enemies on every consecutive cast?

When I have bad luck, the game gives me any color BUT purple and black. So he can’t even activate his ability. I meant to paint a picture of the spectrum from floor to ceiling!

Which is true for literally every non-empowered troop in the game. :wink:

Also that is what manageneraters/transformers are there for.

BTW, not sur the 5 extra glory should be given on a loss.
Technically you could put Sisters alone on a team, do a casual PVP on Warlord 4 and lose first turn to skulls and score 5 glory.

Plague tends to work better though there is the lesser skull damage pay off. So annoying when the Disease cleanses first turn…

I tested the idea - not really worth your time. The AI tends to just bumble around and leave the skulls for you. It’s faster and more rewarding to just play that battle. Perhaps for low lvl players it can work better :thinking:.
