Weapon Upgrade Question

I am using “Golden Cog” as my weapon right now as my team mainly revolves around Rowanne and this way I can easily boost her armor. Last week I decided to upgrade my weapon and spent some ingots - but what’s the advantage? https://9apps.ooo

I get it on a damage dealing weapon, that damage increases but with the Golden Cog I saw no change. Is it worth it to upgrade further? https://solitaire.onl/

First, there is this type of upgrades that give your hero stats at the start of the battle…

…and then there are these that activate every time you cast the weapon.

You just look at them and ask yourself - am I okay with spending ingots on this?
(Well, none of them really benefits Rowanne team, if that’s what you’re asking.)
