Warrior Class not getting the Broken Spire bonus this week

What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened?

I picked the Warrior Class, using the Giant Perk.
I was expecting to get both the Giant bonus and the Broken Spire bonus (because Warrior counts as Broken Spire troop)
But I only get the Giant bonus.

What are the steps to make it happen again?
Pick a warrior class and switch the giant perk.

As you can see, I’m getting the Giant bonus. Also I’m getting the Lord of Spire bonus for having my Hero + this week’s Golem as Broken Spire troops. However, I’m not getting the other 25% bonus from this week’s event.

Every week this occurs. Only troop type currently works for the bonus. Kingdom type does not give any bonus for hero.

Hopefully next patch it will be fixed as this has occurred every week from day 1 of the new event system.

Weekly events and heroes

OK, in retrospect I might have been able to test this before now but I rather forgot. This week’s events give a bonus to all Broken Spire troops, and all Giants. It came to mind that the Warlord class can make your hero a Giant from Broken Spire. I thought heroes might be a special exempt case, but I simply had to try.
