Victory points and banned accounts being botted?

Originally I was going to rant about victory points being ridiculously low the more time goes on. I assume it is due to authorized botted being designed on the old kingdom level power scale rather than the new one. But this image makes me think that the devs use inactive accounts (or even banned ones) and use those to fill the increasingly lower PVP pool. If this player just added this to their player name then hats off for the great troll. But my point remains, why do I have to pvp 3 times as much because Gems of War is losing players in droves?
Shouldn’t those who still play be rewarded instead of punished for longevity? It feels like everything in the world has been inflated economy wise the past 2 years. But somehow victory points are immune?!?

We have updated matchmaking in 9.4, which will make some of the suggested opponents better, with potentially more changes in a future update as I’ve been passing on a lot of feedback around players at lvl 1,500+ not having valuable VP opponents.

Which would address the core of this feedback, which is, you don’t have opponents that offer a valuable amount of VP if you are a high level player.

But PvP has always pulled players from the entire database, including accounts that are suspended.

Does this include how these critiques started SPECIFICALLY when they adjusted VP to scale inversely to your Hero Level?

Yes, it been shared ongoing, from PvP being updated, then through any and all changes since then.
