The tracker anticipated 7.5 to be released on May 9th (6 days ago). Given what we gleaned from Kafkaās secret newspaper (above), Iām thinking the update may drop in the next 2 weeks or so

Based on some updates in Steam DB was hoping to drop it this week. Seems they are still doing tests:

I think campaign will end before update.
As we all know, updates cause problems.
So 3 weeks.
7.5 dropped today (12 days later than predicted).

If you said that everyone would get free ice cream tomorrow, I would believe you.
The devs mentioned that they would focus on guild wars after pvp, but they will probably have to clean up some bugs when we all wake up next Monday.

I, and many others here on the forums were hoping for some guild war news, and it is getting harder and harder for me to wait. I know that the devs have been sick, but even just a āWe are currently working on guild wars for a future updateā would be nice.

Actually, the article says they are still in the early design phase, looking for player feedback. Iād imagine that first āfurther updateā is going to happen when they start to implement something, at which point we are at least two regular patches away from getting GW back.

8.2ās beta has just been announced, meaning the update may drop slightly earlier than predicted.

I just hope the next update brings back guild wars. Not having competition against the best players in the game has made it difficult for me to keep playing. For me, building up kingdom stats, developing new strategies and team building helped me gain more knowledge and experience.
Itās been too much of this pvp nonsense where we just spam Stellarix and wand of stars all day, all the time. (There are some restrictions that you can get away with, but nothing compares to VP per hour with the before mentioned set-up).
We need a changeādesperately. I know that the 10 year anniversary is around the corner, but Iām not sure what to expect.

Sarcasm aside, the silence about the supposed rework feels pretty worrying. That usually only happens whenever itās already clear that any details wonāt be received well by the community. I wouldnāt be surprised if the new Guild Wars will split guilds into two parts, the fish in the barrel and those who buy the season shotgun to have a blast.

Given the way everything introduced is now just a new cash grab with more bugs itās hard to forsee GW coming back without a cash grab element! Even if that goes completely against what it was.
