Update 9.3 Patch Notes

I give it 7/10 for the update. A missing opportunity for more trophies, new medals and the awful animations they added in the map.

The good? The loot and using our endgame toys

Fair point. I’d played 12 side quests when I wrote it and all of them had been traitstones. I was rounding down to 99% to be generous, because I assumed there would be other stuff at some point.
Since then, I’ve done more side quests, and seen one glory, one pet food, and two souls, but I’ve lost count of how many side quests I’ve done. Somewhere around thirty. I’ve stopped paying attention to the exact details, but it’s lower than 99%. Definitely more than half, though.
If anyone wants to try and map exact numbers to work out estimated percentages, they can. I’d be interested to know.

And the eternal dragons i was expecting a challange.

I don’t actually want a real challenge from the mode I’m going to farm shiny dust from.

We’ll be keeping an eye on the Dragon feedback as well, as originally they had some insane damage so they were rebalanced but it was right at the end of the beta so I was able to get more feedback at the time.

Salutations, @Dust_Angel :beer_mug:

I await the storm during next Vault weekend.

7 posts were merged into an existing topic: [known issue] Age Verification blocking game launching

That “new and improved” Kingdom screen needs a chat button.

In other news Google is telling people that age verification isn’t required and they are “all set”. This is on version 52.1.

Age verification should get resolved in the same hotfix we are working on for the console crashing issue

A hotfix will not be able to be created and released before Guild Wars ends. It has to be submitted and processed through the platforms. Unfortunately that is out of our hands once we send it off
We are doing what we can to try and get any hotfix released as fast as we can

Before anyone asks, any compensation would not be organised until after the hotfix is released or at least submitted.

Pure true)

Force update has to go out today.
While there are the console issues for those on 9.3, the team don’t want to risk any additional issues that could affect the event if some people are not updated.

Yeah, this is weird. In my session today the enemies were dying before the attacks even happened. I understand wanting to speed things along but now it looks kind of nonsensical.

Seems that what the game needs is a master toggle, animations on/off. Like, animation speed 1× / 2× / 3× / 4× / ∞×. Infinite animation speed = zero time animation length.

Animation off would be the dream. The amount of eye strain I could have prevented would be unimaginable from the needless colors flying around designed for kids with adhd. Been wanting animations off since they added them in one of those card frame updates a long long time ago.

Best case = Obliviousness
Worst case = Maliciousness

Gotta wonder where in that range was the decision-making process that resulted in additional animation overhead in Explore, since this is at least the second time they slow down the mode through design/interface.
