Update 9.3 Patch Notes

They will generally never give a date (however, recently they’ve given general ranges, which is interesting).

With the notes releasing now, my bet is Tuesday around 8pm EDT.

Nah, most of us got screwed by the exchange and are still below 60. I’ve been playing for almost a decade and still have kingdoms in the 40’s.
Crystals do pop up in offers, so you have the daily offers and arena offers (appear at the end of arena when you win, offers a discount of you won all 6 battles). You can farm arena three times a day for those offers, and get a handful of crystals that way. Still not much, but if you’re struggling to get kingdoms up, it’s something.

2 months in or so and yet to get a rainbow offer, very dissappointing.

This old player, perhaps one of the most accomplished F2P players in the history of this game? He has twelve (12) kingdoms at Prestige 60 and none of them higher.

Mind you, this old player also spends his crystals on the kingdoms with the lowest prestige rather than the highest, because he’s weird that way. But he’s now limited in how quickly he can advance his kingdoms for lack of crystal offers. A very slow drip of them through Daily Deals, a miracle pull once-in-a-long-while from the Arena, a trickle through the Underspire, and the rest because he’s in a high-achieving guild that knocks out all the events.

It would be nice to have the Merchant get those offers as well, but I may as well wish for the moon while I’m at it.

Eternal dragons are powerful? Are they innmune to oneshots and curse?

If you believe the specs over at spoiler sites, they appear completely identical to their ordinary counterparts that we can craft through dragonite gacha games.

All of the dragons says their damage is 1.5, and we know our playable troops have tiers from power: gem, cosmic flower and evil being weaker to the antecesorr batch.

It will be logical to devs, to set the same stats for all Eternals.

It’s expected to release tomorrow on all platforms, and then possibly a force update on Thursday.

Originally it was expected to release last week, avoiding Guild Wars, but there were some delays so it was pushed out.

Echoing this. While I’m by no means a dedicated grinder, I’ve played nearly a decade as well without significant breaks, and all my kingdoms are in the 40s or 50s.

sure we do. Like Midnight or Vulpacia they was on a bottom of a progression in old system too

Yes, it’s a shame that the redesign of 9.3 did not propose anything to “correct” this.
Not to mention the old players, the new ones still don’t have any way of closing gaps either.

Reintroducing the crystals to the merchants is an idea, but otherwise, one way that could have been done is to set a “fixed” (or not) value of exp in Kingdom Explore Mode.

Currently, it took at least 4 fights to reach the boss, I feel like that doesn’t really change, so it would have been interesting to include, like 5 or even 10 exp per end of exploration.

On the basis of 10 exp per exploration, we would have: 1000/10 so we need 100 explorations to do for a lv kingdom => so 500 battles are minimum.

It seems long enough not to be abused (and at worst, you have to put a limit on it), while giving the possibility to rebalance the conversion of 9.2. (even if in itself, there will surely be some for farm to excess :rofl: ).

The other solution that could have been interesting would have been to include the crystals (or the exp of the kingdom) directly in the rewards of “Side Quests”; given the current content, it doesn’t really have any useful rewards. Its only use is to make more Mythstones win…

Anyway, thanks for the patch-notes, it’s always full of interesting information. And the update brings a bit of novelty and difficulty that seems really cool.

Giving out kingdom xp as side quest rewards is a much better idea than what we’re supposed to get. For mid game to end game players gold, glory, souls or any kind of trait stones are absolutely useless. I like to be able to farm shiny dust though which is the only aspect to still play explore. And that was my favourite game mode before books/deeds got cut. Some days I made 3000 trophies there in a single session. Now I struggle to do 50 in a single session before stopping again. And those rewards wouldn’t change anything if it wasn’t for dust and maybe medals …

As for questions around Badges and Mimic chests:
I likely won’t get it confirmed before the update is live, but the chance rates for the different Badges, should be the same as the current Tokens for Mythic Boss chests

And Mimic encounters should multiple the rewards just the same in the Eternal Boss chests, as they do in the Mythic Boss chests.
