What do you think is going to happen when multiple people want something and only 1 spot is available? And even if someone gets it, it’s going to be very hard to tell them to tank so someone else gets it because it’s still Guild Wars and the guild should be trying to win too. And even if they don’t care about the guild aspect, people still want their personal reward track too.
Please change paragon achievement to top 2 tiers, or remove completely. As others have said, it’s a terrible idea that will cause guild hopping and frustration.
I also think the option to use an orb of power in the max upgrade screen should be removed. It’s a noob trap. You shouldn’t be using orbs of power for that.

The new Soul Forge rotation will definitely help a bit (although it will quickly become unbearable again in the future, I’m sure) and putting all the troop upgrades in the same spot again is perfect (I sometimes miss levelling them right now!).
I look forward to maybe getting the two pets that I’m missing with this new system – however, my only question is:
How will you handle which pet is active if two players happen to select one at the exact same moment?
Certainly, it will be a rare occurance, but it is bound to happen eventually.
Decent update. Still waiting for Cedric to be removed from vault keys I have over 3100 of him now. 5 “epic” vault keys opened i got 3 cedrics. This isn’t epic
Pet gnome changes look good. Nice to have more choice in which pets we collect.
So, that means whoever beats the gnome gets to pick, and then everyone in the guild gets to collect the pet picked? Not that everyone in the guild gets to pick?
That’s disappointing, because we might need different pets, but I guess it makes sense to keep it simple and have everyone chase the same pet.
Are you saying ALL other pets will definitely appear now, including those that never appeared before, even though they should have?

Eh, I’m on the fence here. Firstly, the menu has sub-menus, so I don’t see how that’s any different that just having tabs. Secondly, I dunno about the look. I’ll wait and see, but it’s not immediately making me think “this is great” or something.
WHY? Why have you removed an important feature like this? Why do we have to wait for a future update for you to put it back? Why not just do it right the first time?
Please tell me you haven’t remove the disenchant all feature, too.
This shows you clicking the level up button, which takes you to a sub-menu, where you click either level up (again) to go to a second sub-menu, or more upgrades, which would presumably take you back to the previous menu. Why is this sub-menu?? What purpose does it serve other than wasting time? Am I missing something?
More features being removed, that you apparently will add back later? I mean, I don’t care about screenshots, but I don’t get why you’re removing features that weren’t (AFAIK) bugged or subject to complaints. And then possibly having to add them back, later? What’s the point?
This is a terrible achievement/trophy. It should be the top 2-3 ranks, at least.

It’s great to get some QOL and bug fixes, but this update looks iffy. I want to be happy about the good stuff, but there’s some bad stuff that needs attention too.
Please change the paragon achievement! Only 13 members in a full year can earn the achievement and that’s if there is a different winner every time. Most guilds can’t and won’t coordinate that. Will past paragon winners automatically get the achievement? This will also make members quit due to it being unreachable for most.
Won’t this Paragon Achievement thing encourage players to create a guild just to get the achievement, thus resulting in even more abandoned guilds in the long run?
That’s what I was thinking. Personally I’ve never cared for achievements, but seeing the rest of the comments in this thread, people want all the pixel trophies, so this is probably going be the reality.
Considering they they haven’t worked in a year. Can we have mobile pet notifications be fixed to help players target missing pets? I thought the game was trying to be less dependent on Discord. Not more.
Really great updates, can’t wait to see the new troop update menu, because i was always annoyed with so many tabs. I already maxed out all wild pets, so no use for me here, but the system would even better if it prioritize not maxed out pets instead of a complete random selection. Even if not, please make sure to show the current rarity, because copies alone as indicator is not good enough.
About the paragon achievement: I’m absolutely okay with that, some achievements should be “earned” and not all simply be gifted out. I have 3M+ Gamerscore and i don’t care how long it takes to unlock. Of course i understand the difficulty raise/falls with the strenght of your current guild and people who have thousand of days in a guild would probably not throw away the stats just to earn this achievement in a new/weak guild, but maybe that could encourage you to get better and if you a very close to rank 1, there is still the option to ask others to let you get the crown. The other guy could simply choose a fight with lower points and that’s what i’m going to do after obtaining the achievement myself.
This feels like putting a bandaid on a gushing wound. It is better, but the list continues to grow. Eventually it will take just as long as it did before.
Other than that this update is great. I am impressed.
Except this one IS gifted out. Just make a guild, join GW and Boosh, it’s gifted to you.
If you want to do it the hard way, it’s a terrible achievement, because it’s hard to do and can’t be achieved just through hard work.
If we all get better at the same time, it doesn’t get you any closer to the top, does it?
Firstly, this runs the risk of your guild losing the war and everyone in your guild missing out on rewards, possibly every day, in order for lower scoring players to get the trophy/achievement.
Secondly, many players won’t do this. Not every player in a guild is co-ordinating like that. Half my guild don’t use chat, so we have no way to even ask for this. And even if we could all talk, many people won’t tank their own score and risk rewards.
Sure, some guilds will do it. And that’s great for them. But, I suspect there’s gonna be a lot of unhappy players who will never be able to get this, unless they take the easy way and make a new, “dead” guild.
I grabbed the paragon title many times, even in the highest possible bracket. If you’re good enough, only RNG decides if you get the crown or not. In the past it was the usual doomed book bullshit, now it’s the dance with Tak und the floral dragon. So i’m looking forward earning it more or less legit, could be fun und frustrating at the same time. It’s true it can be cheesed as you said, but some players probably don’t pay the price (ereased guild data, many days of loyal membership etc.) - and if they’re willing to do so, they have no reason to complain.
You don’t risk rewards if you chose a battle with less points as rewards and still win. In very few situations that will cost a guild a daily win, many times the gap is way more huge. Handing out the paragon title at the final day to place 2 or 3 only cost a few hundred points. Even if not all players can grab the achievement legit - so what? Change it to something boring like “participate in 20 battles”?
I’m just saying i don’t see a problem with the achievement design. Definitelly better than the “match X amount of xgem” stuff and in the end you only compete with max 29 others, not the entire playerbase. Unhappy players that can’t unlock this achievement in years probably have to accept they don’t “deserve” it as harsh as it sounds, but that’s just my opinion as the rest.
