Unable to use crystal when close to population limit, due to 68 xp

Platform, device version and operating system:

What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:
Due to conversion, my Mydnight kingdom’s xp is not whole hundred, but with 68 plus.

When I want to use crystal to level it up from 60 to 61, the game show this popup

and then the “Exchange” button greys out.

For comparison, I can use crystal to level up Darkstone kingdom from level 60 to 61, which experience is at whole hundred.

Note: it is possible level up Mydnight through completing task. I was able to level up to 60 in that way when level 60 was the limit of population then.

How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?
Since 9.2

Steps to make it happen again
Try to upgrade a kingdem where experience is not full hundred.

While I didn’t face an issue upgrading, Mydnight being the only kingdom without the whole 100s is mildly infuriating :poop::vulcan_salute:

You have 3.1 mil Global population and you need 3.2 mil. Global population, this is why is exchange button grey, upgrade other kingdoms for increasing population.

You didn’t get my point, Fusnix. I can use crystal to upgrade Darkstone to level 61, but not Mydnight.

Yeah i see it, 68 xp is weird(propably bug) but still your Midnight kingdom is level 61 and you can’t upgrade to level 62 because Global population, your Darkstone kingdom is lvl.60 and you upgraded to 61.

No. See the first screenshot. Mydnight is also at level 60.

It moved to 61, then you got the popup. There’s likely two effects overlapping here.

On first screenshot yes and able to upgrade, but on second screenshot is Midnight on 61 and unable to upgrade because population

Sigh.
All I need to do from screenshot 1 to screenshot 2 and 3 is click the + button of blue crystal a single time. Since the exchange bottun is greyed out, I can’t bring Mydnight to level 61. click the - button in screenshot 3 bring it back to screenshot 1.

Yeah I am seeing this bug too, because of the extra points, as soon as you add a crystal it skips to the next level progression. So if I was upgrading from 29 to 30 it suddenly skips to show me upgrading to level 31. It is almost like the code is rounding up and thinking you’ve already promoted a level and doing all the calculations for the level after.

Ah, that makes more sense, the check kicks on too early.
