Mythic - 5 diamons
I hate this game
One more mythic - 3 Anu
Me too!
…
FINALLY the last one and the set is complete.
It has taken from 23/10/23 to 14/6/25 to collect all six.
Mythic - lantern
Also got a Sentinel form an epic room
So about one and a half years to get all 6 sentinels. Congrats @esslee.![]()
The Draconic Sentinel will probably elude me for another year or so because I keep getting duplicates, but I will keep wasting my time and gems until then…
Im still stuck on 5 total in all of that time. lol. Haven’t seen one in over 6 months.
Same here, still no Monstrous Sentinel, have multiple of all the others. Have been clearing all rooms since they were introduced.
I do the first two bosses and the rest is random!! For me!!!
One Sentinel left.. ![]()
I’m also at “one sentinel remaining” despite clearing all seven bosses (and usually ~10-12 sentinel rooms) every week. I’ve only found nine sentinels in all that time and have yet to accumulate more than two copies of any single type.
Of course, I also had a spurt a few months ago when I found several sentinels in a short span of time and dared to ask if somehow the drop rates had changed; since then, I’ve found one (1) sentinel in all that time and naturally it was a dupe.
Mythic - 3x Yasmine
Off-topic for this thread, but didn’t want to start a new one for this.
I have a highly cursed underspire this week. 2 of the first 3 zones broke the “no 4 split” rule. And, unrelated, 2 khafru start of turn crashes so far. Is anyone else’s map really weird this week?
I’m assuming nothing was changed and I’m just unlucky.
I hate to say you’re unlucky, but.. well..
The Khafru thing shouldn’t be happening. If it happens a 3rd time, may want to consider making a bug report, because it’s probably not going to be a universal crash issue..
Yeah, I haven’t seen a khafru crash in months, especially surprising in a game mode with no heroic gems. If @Jeto feels like checking my underspire battle log from the last 24 hours, both crashes are there. But I’d honestly rather the dev time go to more pressing issues.
When I started the fourth “sub-region” during yesterday’s map, my “main path” forked immediately after the gate from the third “sub-region”. And both of those subsuquent rooms were of the identical level.
It’s certainly plausible, but that’s the first time I can recall seeing that specific outcome in all of my history of playing the Underspire. Which left me taking a look at the overall map of the Underspire and having to “logic” out which one was the main path based on where the open space was. I guessed right – I’ve been doing so well on 7 + 10 torches per day this week such that I had enough torches to take one guess through to the gate to the 5th region with yesterday’s batch and my “guess” was right.
But I figure the odds of that exact scenario happening that “deep” into the Underspire is mathematically tiny.
Side note that I got 0 legendary or mythic rooms for 40 days by now exploring every possible room weekly
You know this fork rule.
Is it a rule set by Devs.
Or a rule set by watching tubers like Tacet
.
Honest question, because unless it’s come from the horse’s mouth (Jeto), then it means nothing.
It’s based on an extensive analysis the community did over a year ago, somewhat similar to dungeon doors. Applying the findings usually allows saving several torches each run.
I’m quite sure you won’t find any official able to comment on this, it goes way beyond their usual area of expertise.
I can comment on Underspire, but not sure it really addresses things relating to trying to collect all the Guardian troops..
When it comes to “rules” there are only a couple of things we have programmed specifically:
Repeat for all 6 areas.
Then other minor constraints, such as an area cannot be bigger than a specific size, and it should be completable within a week (I know that is subjective player to player).
Everything within those points is randomly generated.
Given those restrictions and the layout and placement of rooms generated randomly within them, there will be consistency and repeatable occurrences.
This idea of “rules” like Merchants being specifically X spaces from the “main path”, Boss Rooms are Y spaces from the “main path etc, is not something we have programmed in.
Again, not denying those things are happening, repeatedly, but it’s not something we have programmed in.
As for Guardians, there is a chance for each Treasure Guardian to drop a copy of one of the Guardian troops, and each copy has the same chance to appear.
Is this chance above or below 0.1%?
US was added almost 2 years ago if I’m not wrong? I’m still at 4 different Guardians with 6 Guardians in total after spending 1500 gems every week and doing every room. So every Guardian should be added to the Soulforge in rotation, pretty much like dragons …
It’s actually inherent part of the maze generation algorithm and specifically programmed that way. If possible, the server will always place these rooms 6 steps off the main path. Whenever it paints itself into a corner it will look for a spot closer to the main path, apparently never less than 4 steps away. When that also fails, weird things have been observed to happen.
