As all of them are allusion to a existing flower - the name should contain a name in it
Cladius, Narcitus and Orchidius is fine - that flowers had a similar names here, but the others not)
Belcerulea is translated to “Белсерулея” - it’s a just a bunch of a letters, not a word, which looks like a word). As i see it’s named for a Campanula. which means bell or “Колокольчик” in russian, so it may be named “Колокольник”
Orrissea - is for Iris - so it can be named “Ирисиус”
Thornaressa - is for a rose or a similar wild rose bush named “шиповник” for a “шип" = “thorn“. so it may be called “Шиповникусь”
Here’s another Italian translation/typing issue regarding the Gobsticker weapon: the number of exploded gems is not written correctly, there’s only a number 3 in curly brackets as you can see from the image.
I don’t know what to categorize it, but I don’t really see the point of the 7 new Evil Dragons to have 7 different trait names for the same 2nd trait effect. Makes for an in-game filtering nightmare. Thankfully, “Kin of” works, though Kin picks up stoneskin.
All 7 of them also spell “resurrect” as “ressurect” which is a proper error in-case the first part doesn’t count.
This season’s PvP Legendary Troop, Sironia, has a translation error in Italian:
The correct spell causes “Charm, submerges an enemy, etc.” In the Italian translation, CHARM should have been translated as AMMALIA, but instead it was written INCANTA, meaning ENCHANT, which is a completely different effect… and that changes everything.
Now… I wonder, is there really a desire to fix these translation errors?
There are some very serious errors being reported, not just silly ones, and my question is: are we wasting time constantly reporting them and should we just accept it, or can someone tell us if these things will be fixed? Because these reports have been made for months, if not years, and I haven’t seen a single fix.
We’re just told every now and then that everything “has been reported to the translation team.” I don’t mean to be rude, but let us know if reporting these things is pointless, so at least we don’t waste time reporting them anymore.
The conjunction was misinterpreted. The phrase “a mix of 14 geen and bleed gems” means a total of 14 gems, not 14 of each. The current translation incorrectly doubles the quantity.
Those lines don’t even feel like human language. I recognize every individual word, but when they’re put together, the sentence is completely unreadable. It feels like the text was translated word by word without considering context.
All of those names refer to the same location. Do you know how confusing that is?
Basically, this name issue happened in every PvP location. Maraji Expanse is the worst.
“Drain mana” is translated as siphon/leech, which is misleading
The Pet Rescue event dialog never popped up after the Astral Spire update. Not sure if this is a global issue or only in Chinese.
Star stones display correctly in English, but in Chinese they all appear as ‘1’.People may not be willing to purchase the package if everything shows as ‘1’.
The campaign is probably referencing Dago’nath, but since that word is censored, it does not even come up. The censorship is horribly outdated, but maybe they should just make a Harry Potter reference for that raid boss troop in the future and just call him, “He who must not be named.”
Come on guys… when are you going to start checking the translations properly? There’s always a problem… @Jeto, the spells of the two new Immortal Seasonal troops are translated incorrectly.
Immortal Kveldulf deals “true light splash damage.” In Italian, “true” was translated as “pure” (“puro” in italian) when it should be “vero”. “light,” which would be “not heavy” in this case, was translated as “luce” like sunlight… The result is that you can’t undertand anything…
For Immortal Tauraeus, the same thing, “true” translated as “pure” instead of “vero”.
