Tian Yi's spell doesn't kill himself, does it?

I just first encountered him in PvP. After my opponent’s Tian Yi cast his spell, he died and a (summoned) Monkey Disciple appeared in its place. His death was not an undocumented effect of his spell, was it? Perhaps he hit my Reflect, since I was using my Hellcrag gargoyles team.

Could have been reflect, or you may have exploded a deathmark gem without realizing it and it procced on him.

You’re correct, his spell doesn’t kill himself.

It can’t be Deathmark, since he died after casting his spell. It should be Reflect.
