This game really has no interest anymore because it is only made for VIPs, when you are not VIP the loot rate is almost non-existent for mythical. 2000 gem keys, 20000 guild seals, 300000 glory and not even 1. I have a VIP friend with the same thing he loot 3,4 or more.
What makes you think the drop rate of mythic level troops is higher for VIP level players?
Not receiving a mythic troop from 2,000 gem keys while unusual, is not that uncommon. It happens from time to time.
Same could be said for 300,000 glory. My experience is that you normally get a mythic drop on average every 150,000 glory, but it is not uncommon to have a gap larger than this.
As for Guild seals, I’ve not used them recently, but from memory, I wouldn’t expect to get a mythic from 20,000 of them, and that’s assuming your guild had them to level VI at the time you opened them.
Drops rates are exactly the same across all platforms, that data is stored on the server and not on your personal accounts - the VIP data is in no way connected to any chance data.
think what you want. but we have done several tests and the result is always the same, a VIP always gets 3.4 times more mythics for the same amount of resources used
how many players were involved in the tests?
Well I’m a VIP 11 and didn’t get mythics for months. Often I have spent a few 100.000 keys, seals and glory, but didn’t get anything. For example Khafru. While several F2P members of my guild have 3 copies after using 10% of my resources, I still have none. Similar with Sentinels. It took me 90.000 gems to get my first copy, while others with a lower level already had the full set at that time.
RNG (luck) can be deceiving sometimes. But unfortunately that’s the way it is …
REALLY? Care to share any hard data on these tests? I played this game for several years barely spending any cash and found no issues playing competitively and collecting troops, pets and weapons (I guess that’s why I’m still playing). Overall, this is one of the precious few so-called “F2P” games in which I can say that.
Sure, spending money on the game and advancing VIP levels does allow for greater resource accumulation and faster collection of select troops. However, for all the times I’ve griped about bad GoW RNG mojo I do trust the devs when they say that the odds are the same regardless of spend.
Well said!
This “paying players have better RNG” idea pops up every so often over the years. I have yet to see any data to suggest this, let alone prove it beyond a reasonable doubt.
Keep in mind that paying players are likely to have more resources to spend (this IS a perk of being a VIP) and potentially more time investment into the game. This in no way means that the actual drop rates are modified for paying players.
Sample size of 1?
Must be a conspiracy!
Come on now…
