I agree with @efh313, I’m VIP 11 and haven’t bought anything in 6+months, I’m waiting for there to be better bonuses to VIP to take advantage of it… I would actually like to see the cost of VIP chests go down every 5 level cause most players it seems would stop after unlocking them (IMO there are even a bunch of F2P players would would go to at least VIP 5 to unlock the chests)

I think alternate art cards would be an excellent idea to potentially increase profits a little.
They would have to be particularly cool variants of existing cards and obviously anyone facing your defense team would have to see them for the “Hah! look what I have effect”
As an example, Hex VTCG does this really well.

I AM one of those players! If you look at my posts and know anything about my opinion of the RL economy of GoW, you would probably be surprised that I am VIP 5, but it is exactly for the reason you stated. By unlocking VIP chests I gave myself the best RNG outlet for the the unavoidable gamble. So… I save up my 2250 gems and buy only blocks of 50 VIP chests.
And, as you said, until something changes in favor of better kickbacks for VIP members, I do not foresee myself dropping another dime beyond my current status.

Yes gems, chest, and vip are more P2W as it increases your stregnth or at least provides access to do so.
I won’t buy gems. Looking at how many this game could eat up and how many you actually get it’s not economical to me. Perhaps it was a long time ago when we had less troups. I think it should be revamped.
I bought to get VIP chests then was shocked silly at the cost of the 50 chest. Since I’ve never got anything from VIP, like a mythic, I didn’t get from gem chests I don’t bother.
I would pay to customize the appearance of cards and heros. Even if I don’t see the hero except for Arena.
A visible avatar/hero in the corner would encourage paid for customizations. It could create it’s own market.
I’ll organize this thread in my original post while down from chemo in a day or two.
