So I went to check if Bounty Rewards now include Crystals or Kingdom XP..
..alas regrettably nada.

Same. Little irritating tbh. Bounty needs its rewards updated. But given that journey troops are still nerfed when the nerf literally does NOTHING im not holding my breath

They want to lure people into buying Crystals from their weekly bundles in the shop. That’s why they did not replace Deeds in the PvP shop or add new offers from Merchants or Angels. And given how rare Crystals are from other sources (Guild Event rewards, Underspire, Daily Deals, etc.), kingdom progress looks like a marketing scheme right now.
If you did not benefit greatly from the 9.2 conversion, you are left in a bad situation because it’s going to take a lot of money to level up your kingdoms now.

In my opinion, Bounty isn’t aimed at the endgame player. Sure, it would be wonderful to have another (easy) source for some of the endgame stuff we’re all pining away for, but I don’t believe that we’re the “target audience”. And the prizes reflect that.
at the time it was released, it absolutely was aimed at the end game audience that could afford a disposable income of gems. they just never updated it since.

I can’t tell you the last time I bothered with Bounty. The rewards are not worth my time. I don’t even do the free battles.

Virtually free orbs about 5. That can rng. Minion,gold orbs.
Damn dude im impressed, you have every pet, and every single troop at gold elite. Wow.
Because orbs arent worth your time, this is the only possible conclusion.
Back when I felt like I had little else to do on a weekend, I’d buy Tier I and Tier II. If I used all those sigils AND the free sigils AND I caught every Valraven? And did so with a team with an x30 score multiplier? (I’d use orbs to ascend the Captain to mythic.)
I could complete 19 of the 20 prize gates. An up-front cost of 90 gems (plus the Orb), and I’d get all the gems back plus other stuff with the prizes I could claim.
Nowadays, I don’t find that to be a worthwhile use of my time. So I simply buy Tier I and Tier II so that I have a single copy of the new troop, Orb it to mythic, and then forget it until such time as I might want to spend Medals of Yasmine to turn it elite.

Orbs are not worth my time.
I wait for the troop to hit the chests.

you can say minion and gold orbs, I’ll say growth, wisdom, and ingots.
It’s not even virtually free. You’re paying a gem entry price and then spending precious time doing it. The older I get, the more I value my time, even if it’s just to relax more.
You can get orbs so much faster/easier from Vault keys that Bounty orbs aren’t worth it.
