Computers are completely controlled (FOR NOW!) with drop rates, most events DO carry an element of complete random.
Sirian told me the rng is seeded each server call with the millisecond time stamp of your request.
Buy 50 boxes, rng seeded once and you get 50 consecutive numbers from the rng.
Buy one at a time, itās reseed ed each time.
It shouldnāt make a difference IF the rng isnāt bugged. Or the selection of troops based on the rng isnāt bugged.
I have my suspicions, and I think you are better off buying 1 at a time.

Since I donāt have any choice at this point, one at a time is what Iām going to do, because otherwise I will dangerously deplete my gems like I did the last time RNGesus wasnāt cooperative.
@Lyya I am not new to experiencing the quirks of RNG in online games. When PlayStation Home was still around there was ample opportunity to play both table and board games created by a dozen different developers in the same environment (casino style, carnival Midway booth style, trivia and dance games, card games like Blackjack and Poker, roulette, craps, etc.). But one of the things I did notice then is that in-world game apps had a tendency to work better (as in less likely to get āstuckā on repetitive, bad RNG) whenever oneās Home account got reset by the devs.
So Iām wondering if another reset would help in my case right now. @Mr.Strange ?
Ok. I admit I could also use some help perhaps from Tyriās lamp, and wish for some extra resources for attempting at first the 1-at-a-time and then the 1x50 last resort roll of the dice, but even then I know thereās no guaranteeā¦ For example, over the weekend on my iOS account Iāve used at least 4x50 Gem keys and over 2000 Glory keys, and havenāt yet tapped the featured Mythic troop this week!
Unfortunately I do not have access to numbers like that on console, hence the frustration, for which I must apologize.
Normal daily reset seems to have done the trick
1st pull in VIP: x2 Arcane Forest
2nd: Arcane Spirit,
Arcane Swamp
Switched to Event chest and got another Twisted Hero
3rd pull in VIP: INFERNAL KING
Glad it worked finally!
Looks like they ninja-fixed XB1 VIP Chest issues
Thank you @Nex and @Mr.Strange!
Anyone have any thoughts on the arcanes in this weekās pack?
I bought enough to trait-out my Shadow Hunter, but donāt really care much about most of the other Arcane Spirit using troops that are available now. I donāt have Abhorath and just got my first Psion yesterday. I imagine weāll see Mab introduced a month from now, so that is the one thing I might want to stockpile for, but that would take a big chunk of my accumulated glory (meaning less glory left to buy packs in the coming weeks if something I want more comes out).
I miss Shiratoriās weekly predictions of upcoming troops. Not that the predictions were always right, but they were thoughtfully considered and were generally in the ballpark. Seems like Ghiralee (Blade), Wild Fang (Blood), Valor (Blood) and Nobend Brothers (Lava) are the most overdue Epics, but I canāt begin to parse all the various factors that they are probably taking into account when determining the release order.
I bought enough to trait Mab and Ideally would like to trait Shadow Hunter but considering I used all my glory and likely wonāt build up enough this week to accomplish that task, Iāll probably end up saving the rest at least until the end of the week to see what the next arcane is. If itās something I need less than to trait SH Iāll probably spend my remaining glory to work towards that.
Same for me. Stocked up for Mab; not enough glory for Shadow Hunter.
Been waiting months for Lava arcanes. Dont even want them as much; rather trait Maw and Gorgotha now. By the time I get a chance to Iāll probably be bored of those too.
Yeah, Iām really not sure what to do. If Blood or Lava come next week, I may have torched my last good chance to trait Sheggra, Jarl, Crimson Bat in the hopes of traiting Mab a month from now (maybe).
Does it help if you ignore Sheggra and only need enough glory for Bat or Jarl? And to stock up for Mab
Ignore Sheggra, Huge is all it needs.
I honestly havenāt put a lot of thought into it. I donāt use any of those troops now - Jarl and Sheggra mainly because I think they are so much better once they have their traits. Crimson Bat I didnāt pull until recently, but the traits look less important for that one, so it isnāt really a concern. In the last few weeks, I havenāt used much glory, but I could definitely see burning through all Iāve got if even half of my list of overdue troops arrives in the next month.
That makes sense. I mean, youād never want her in first position. If her 2nd or 3rd traits come into play, youāre probably near the end of the match one way or the other and the little bit of burn damage wonāt make much difference.
I regret Traiting Sheggra over Jarl. Hopefully Nobend Brothers come soon.
Yep. I was also waiting every week for nobends and storing as much glory as possible in order to trait both Jarl and Sheggra until people made it clear Sheggras traits are baloney
I can understand that. I think Iāll stock up traitstones for Mab and hope Iāve got enough when Nobend comes to trait Jarl.
I agree jarl is the guy to trait and AI is very lucky with him
I hate it when that guy gets rolling.
Farm up and do a bunch of Maps. The Glory will pile up.
I know. There are just so many things to work on right now. Still trying to level up all my kingdoms to 10, trying to power level my kingdoms to 1 gold star (need more troops in Darkstone and Drifting sands to make that reasonable), then 3 gold stars, support my guild, do daily tasks where possible, plow through the new kingdom questline and challenges (for bonus souls), etc. Iāve got plenty of maps, but I seldom rank them very high on my to-do list.
