I’d also be interested in that and based on what I’ve read here - I didn’t see that. If anything, this should make PvP easier and faster.
Well, the other option would be to leave the daily battles just as they are right now and distribute the star stones among those battles as extra rewards that get handed out on top of the existing rewards.
Better put 3 daily plunder behind 6 gates and give a stone for each perfect run!
Sure, I guess. It is a lot of faith to think they’ll remember to distribute them evenly in every type of daily task without them missing a few and if it’s relegated to just the last battle of each daily task, then some of the harder tasks are going to lock new players out of getting star stones for the day that’d they’d probably be getting with the incoming system. Not everyone can handle 11,000 battles instantly.
I don’t read any cost for misplacement. If the cost of other nodes went up it would, but there’s not a limited number of skill picks you receive, or the ability to put anything permanently out of reach. You might realize you don’t have the combination of bonuses you want, but you could change and work towards those different bonuses whenever you wanted to. A reset is an interesting nice to have, but compared to other things we’ve been asking for I wouldn’t place too high a value on it.
Since we will not be able to reset for the unseeable future, The Chalice (
allies) Astral Spire board looks to be the strongest. A 20% chance to cleanse (hopefully through stun, I don’t know if these effects work like Monoliths), and a % chance to prevent extra turns from your ally (50% when maxed?) can get you out of a tough situation. But I will probably just save up star stones and think it over because Star Stones will be very scarce and precious.![]()
@Jeto Will bountiful gems (+1 gem creation for
allies) affect the elemental and umbral stars created by Stellarix? This also goes for other “heroic” gems. Or is the increased gem creation just for “normal” gems, like the Journey troop we are using this week?
Just to make sure it’s clear.. its not just triggered by brown mana allies, it’s for all troops. It’s just on the Brown Mana board.
Unless a bonus states a specific troop type or for you hero, it’s for all allied troops.
As for the bonus itself
I believe it is applied and triggered by any spells you cast that create any Gems.

I was saving my exalted keys for a change in troop rewards. I guess for nought.
It’s as simple as someone putting 6 months of star stones on say the hero board because its the first board the player saw and who doesnt want a stronger hero? but then other players help the someone in realizing that there’s other strategies exist in Gems of War and suddenly that player is already 6 months behind. The devs also plan on releasing more boards each year, placing that person way further behind.
A different person can be putting the points into different nodes on random boards, not knowing its probably a good idea to go for a gold node or capstone they had in mind instead.
In Gems of War terms, it’s the people that have Warlord at class level 87 without realizing there’s 37 other classes they should probably look at before investing so much heavy time, except class exp is infinitely grindable and these star stones are one a day.

and about that - now i have a 530± mastery with 65% chance of mana surge, would it became 80% or 65*1,15=~75?
Since it is a percentage, I would assume it would be 65% + 15% = 80%. At least that is how it looks like.

This reminded me of the max mana surge chance with your hero being at level 9,999, with a paltry 72% mana surge chance. Let’s hope that the added 15% mana surge chance from Astral Spire is calculated correctly.![]()
I would like to point out that specific stat bonuses and trait bonuses don’t alter your team score. The calculation for team score looks at: hero level, guild statue levels, kingdom/guild/renown stat bonuses, the current rarity of each troop, the current level of each troop, and the number traits active on each troop. If you use your hero, it also looks at the weapon level, class level, class traits, and class talents.
Unless they specifically modify the formula to calculate team score, these bonuses shouldn’t affect team scores at all.
