What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:
Since the recent upgrade, the Talent Tree is not taken in account anymore, both in visibility (the window summarizing the Talents you have chosen for your character is not displayed when looking at the Traits of your character, in the Team management mode or when in a fight) and in effect (as an example, in the current guild war, my character is supposed to have the Insulated talent, yet he has been frozen when hitting the Guardian. And yes, he is not Cursed nor Stunned).
How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?
Happen since the Update 9.3.
Steps to make it happen again
Go in a fight or in the Team management mode. Click on the card of your character. Then click on the Trait card (the one on the right of the card with your portrait). Here, usually, at the left of the Talent Card, there should have a semi-transparent window summarizing your talents and other effects (like Potions) active for the fight. It is not present anymore, and the effects are not taken in account in the fight.
Edit : i tested on the current Journey event. The window is not displayed only for the user Character card, but it is displayed in the Allies’ cards. Thus, the Potions’ effects are taken in account. But not the Talents, obviously.
