It’s Campaign time again on NS, and this is the final campaign where we are using the single-task/milestone structure when PC players used the previous, multi-task structure, so I will be documenting them here, with some commentary week to week:
Nintendo Switch Campaign: Window of Spirits
- Week 1 - Maugrim Woods: Green Slayer (125), Forest Crystals (800), Dominator (15)
- Week 2 - Suncrest: Slayer (200), Brawler (40), Purple Slayer (75)
- Week 3 - Divinion Fields: Brawler (30), Glory Hound (60), Dark Crystals (600)
- Week 4 - Vulpacea: Dominator (25), Slayer (160), Soul Grinder (200)
- Week 5 - Wild Plains: Green Slayer (125), Slayer (160), Brawler (50)
- Week 6 - Shentang: Red Slayer (125), Dominator (20), Brawler (50)
- Week 7 - Leonis Empire: Ice Crystals (1000), Brawler (40), Slayer (120)
- Week 8 - Sin of Maraj: Slayer (200), Red Slayer (100), Dominator (15)
- Week 9 - Sword’s Edge: Blue Slayer (125), Glory Hound (60), Slayer (120)
- Week 10 - Glacial Peaks: Soul Grinder (400), Ice Crystals (800), Slayer (120)
Week 1 Update: The Campaign starts in Maugrim Woods, and our tasks this week are:
- Green Slayer (125 troops)
- Forest Crystals (800 green gems)
- Dominator (15 battles)
This is also a Guild Wars week, so Dominator will not be a problem.

Week 2 Update - Suncrest, and we have:
- Slayer (200 troops)
- Brawler (40 battles)
- Purple Slayer (75 troops)
This is literally our first ever Bronze-ranked “Color Slayer” task (all previous tasks were either Silver or Gold).
Week 3 Update - Sorry for the delay (using a backup laptop right now) but for Divinion Fields we have:
- Brawler (30 battles)
- Glory Hound (60 Glory)
- Dark Crystals (600 crystals)
Brawler is still bugged but should get fixed with the 7.2.x release, whenever that happens (seems we are skipping 7.2.0).
First “Glory Hound” of this campaign and there are no shortcuts. 10 Glory per day (2-5 PVP wins) is enough to complete the task in 6 days.
Vulpacea should be next week!
Week 4 update - Vulpacea debuted this week and I almost forgot to actually record the Campaign Tasks, but in fact they were:
- Dominator (25)
- Slayer (160)
- Soul Grinder (200)
Week 5 update - for Wild Plains, we get:
- Green Slayer (125)
- Slayer (160) - 2nd week in a row
- Brawler (50 battles)
Apparently, the Brawler bug was NOT fixed with the 7.2 Switch update (contrary to release notes), but perhaps it will be fixed with the next Campaign?
Week 6 update - for Shentang, we have:
- Red Slayer (125)
- Dominator (20)
- Brawler (50) - 2nd week in a row
Dominator … yay… Otherwise, not much to talk about.
Week 7 update - before I forget, in Leonis Empire we get:
- Ice Crystals (1000)
- Brawler (40) - 3rd week in a row
- Slayer (120)
Brawler is on a streak currently.
Week 8 update - for Sin of Maraj, we get:
- Slayer (200) - 2nd week in a row
- Red Slayer (100)
- Dominator (15)
Oh, hi, Dominator. Too bad this isn’t a Guild Wars week.
Week 9 Update - Sword’s Edge gives us:
- Blue Slayer (125)
- Glory Hound (60)
- Slayer (120) - 3rd week in a row
This week is a Guild Wars week, PLUS +5 bonus Glory for using the new weekly Troop in any attack team (GW or otherwise), so the Silver task will be easier than usual.
Week 10 Update - to close out this campaign, Glacial Peaks gives us:
- Soul Grinder (400)
- Ice Crystals (800)
- Slayer (120) - 4th week in a row
There could be worse tasks to see a streak like this on.
Overall Campaign summary:
- 12 unique tasks across all weeks
- 26% of tasks were duplicated week-to-week
- The most common tasks were: Slayer (7x), Brawler (5x), and Dominator (4x)
- One streak lasted 4 weeks (Slayer, Weeks 7-10)
- One streak lasted 3 weeks (Brawler, Weeks 5-7)
I am not planning to continue this for future Campaigns going forward (which are expected to more or less mirror the PC campaigns), but I will likely still record them privately just out of habit.
