Summoned Troops Level

Hi Everyone!

When a troop is summoned the traits reflect the troops from your existing pool (so for example if the summoned troop is a troop you do not own then there are no traits) but what determines the level?

Some summoners have set levels where it states "summon a level X troop"but this question is for the random ones.

Is it the magic of the summoner or are the summons the same level as the summoner?

Summoners magic dictates the troops level. Always.

But a level 20 troop can’t summon higher than level 20.

All my troops are level 20 so that’s why i had a mis-perception that summoned troops were same as the summoner’s level
