[Submit a ticket] Issue with loading save game

What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:
Yeah, this doesn’t really fit your format, sorry. I have a GoW account. I have played it on steam, and I play on mobile. I stopped for a while and came back in the last month or so. I installed the game on my new PC, saw that I needed to request a password from my signed in account or something to that effect–information was required that I didn’t have on hand at the moment, so I closed out of the game. When I opened it back up, the game didn’t give me an option to sign in to my account; it just created one for me with a random name. Now there is literally no way to change to my actual account.

The first thing I did was disable steam cloud, then I uninstalled. Then I deleted literally every folder I could find that had ‘Gems’ or ‘GoW’ in the title, both from %APPDATA% and the entire PC. I reinstalled and GOT THE SAME BEHAVIOR AGAIN?! I’m genuinely starting to believe I’m going insane.

Why is there no “Account” option under the settings tab in the desktop client when there is in the mobile client? Isn’t that kinda the whole point of unity–cross-platform parity?

How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?

It happens every single time I open the game.

Steps to make it happen again
Open the game. Try to change accounts. See there is no “Account” tab in the settings menu.
