The perspective is really off on this sword. Either that, or it gets wider from hilt to point. Not sure how else to explain why it looks just as big over the entire range, while clearly it’s also supposed to be pointing away from the viewer (look at the troop’s hands).
And that’s my art nitpicking quota for the month.

it looks small and gets bigger but the angle of the blade is different from the handle.
