Shade of Kurandara and Kurandara in that order. Bring memories when i used to play on paint on windows 98.

I was sooo sure i heard Kurandara name before, here is the lore post included during Doomclaw realese.

Many centuries ago, King Asbjorn Doomclaw ruled the northern lands of Urskaya.
Things in Urskaya were never entirely peaceful, but Asbjorn’s reign was particularly troubled; his kingdom came under attack from the Daemon Lord Kurandara, whose horde of mindless Hellspawn would descend from the southern mountains at night to terrorize the Urska (and believe me it is VERY hard to terrorize an Urska). It did not happen every night, and never in the same place twice. This went on for years.
Every morning, after an invasion happened, Asbjorn would rally the Urskatyrs to go hunting, but Kurandara and his legions could never be found.

Asbjorn gradually grew enraged. He began to sleep during the day and took to travelling the mountains at night, Urskatyrs in tow, looking for signs of the Daemon horde.

Finally, one night when the moon was full, Asbjorn found them, preparing for an invasion, with Kurandara himself standing by his summoning portal, and Hellspawn pouring through. Without thought, Asbjorn charged him. The battle was fierce and raged on for many minutes until King Asbjorn Doomclaw grabbed the Daemon Lord and they fell back through the portal.

Neither was ever seen again, though it is said in Urskaya, particularly in the lands down near the mountains, that on nights when the moon is full, and the veil between worlds is weak, you can still see King Asbjorn Doomclaw roaming the mountains. He is changed and corrupted by chaotic forces, but he still guards the southern reaches of Urskaya against the Daemons.

Hey, super minor subtle change with good benefits…

Uncalico Jack
Talk Like A Pirate Day 2020

70 Days

is now a Leonis Empire pet

also… the Illithia weapon:

Forbidden Tome

Rarity: Legendary
Weapon Type: Tome
Weapon Role: Warlock

Forbidden Tome
Steal [Magic + 1] Magic from an Enemy and shift it to Attack. Then Enrage myself. [1:1]

Mana Color: Blue, Purple
Mana Cost: 14

Potentially strong but also a bit yawn if do say so myself… I don’t see myself using it, but it could be funny to see a full team of enemies with 0 magic.

Still won’t be a counter for Life and death /Arachnean Weaver teams where magic is the biggest issue.

Forbidden Tome
Steal [ 1/2 Magic + 1] Magic from the last two enemies and shift it to Attack. Then Enrage myself. [1:1]*

There I fixed it. @Designers. :grinning:

Sounds very simple but sooooo needed.

I’d say “last two enemies” rather than 3rd and 4th slot specifically, since it’s possible to eliminate troops from the bottom up.

Thanks for your service, Taran. Really appreciate your work as it helped me a lot with planning.

If someone could at least replicate/replace the Event schedule part of Taran’s site, that would be great. For me, I like looking at up coming troops but I think they’ll be okay as a surprise. However, seeing the Event schedule weeks in advance helps me make some decisions so it’s pretty important. Thanks!

some very interesting spoilers: a lot of information, from very little provided

1.The 2 Campaign weapons had their instakill chance buffed from 1% to 4%.

  1. Arboreal Crystal
Explode [Magic + 1] Green Gems. Grant a random Status Effect to all Elemental Allies. Then summon an Elemental.
    Blue, Purple
    14

Tangling: Entangle the First Enemy
Primal: Destroy 3 random Green Gems
Leaf: Create a Leaf Storm

Wow… I don’t think Elementals needed this. Holy heck. A green storm exploder with an Entangle and summon. GG. Nice hero weapon.

  1. Lava Spirit Wolf is now known as Amarok. (mythic). no skill info yet.

  2. Angelic Dragon (mythic) from Dragon’s Claw. no info yet.

  3. Naga God (mythic) from Mist of Scales. no info yet.

expect both to change in names and such

  1. Cedric Sparklesack… a boss version with all 6 colors

  2. Eldrazhor 1-4 … that’s Zhul’Kari… probably after Tinker Town

  3. Daughter of Shadows is from Darkstone. That’s Kingdom Power 20 right there.

  4. Daemon Gnome from the Vault

  5. Fire Lion is from Leonis Empire. After the September pet, that’s Kingdom Power 20 right there as well.

  6. Goblin Rogue and Goblin Titan are from Zaejin. That’s another Kingdom Power 20.

  7. Naga God (mentioned earler) and Naga Royal Guard are from Mist of Scales. That’s Kingdom Power 20 and… maybe 21?

  8. Kurandara reworded and buffed.

Spell Description: Deal [Magic + 5] damage to an Enemy, boosted by Doomskulls. Convert Yellow Gems to Doomskulls. Conjure a Doomstorm. [6x]

Spell Description: Deal [Magic + 5] damage to an Enemy, boosted by Doomskulls. Then convert Yellow Gems to Doomskulls. Conjure a Doomstorm. [10x]

And we still dont know the 21+ Requirements? :face_with_monocle:

According to the current Tinker Town coordinates in the Underworld (1187 x 714), it must be placed in the lava ring. Or at least on its northern edge.

Also, there is no faction pets for Tinker Town and Eldrazhor yet.

Looks like Illithia is this weekend new faction.

Yes, belongs to Drhak, nothing new.

Literally everything else about this troop can change… But as long as it keeps the Invulnerable trait. And players can buy/craft it before the ingredients are craft able. Then I can make no argument against GoW officially becoming “pay to win”.

Before GW complaints arise though. It’s a boss troop, so easy to make a counter for it.

Just realized they changed the mana cost from 32 to 35. Well then. (and the boost ratio is also 10x, before anyone feels too down on the change)

It just depends on the order, if the boost ratio is counted before the conversion.
Otherwise it’s easily 100+ damage per troop per cast for end gamers.
The Mana cost tells me that a troop that gives all daemons half Mana is definitely in the works for the next year or so.
