I can already see my 4 x [that upcoming mono-red troop] team as my defence. They’re empowered and will destroy themselves in 4 turns. Pretty much like Elspeth in old days.
They’re also one-shot, meaning only one of them can cast the spell and the others will be prevented from using it. So one bomb and three duds. Not that its going to rack up any wins like that.

Hmm… did Fire Bomb lose the “one shot” tag and go from 3 explosions to 4? That could actually make a pretty big difference.
Flame Troll has 48 armor+life, compared to 43-44 for all the other Trolls. I wonder if that is attempting to make up for the first trait being terrible.
Yes, just double-checked the data. The step to make the spell one-shot is gone.

Well then… I suppose 4x Fire Bomb defenses could be a thing after all. I really don’t see what is gained by removing the one-shot flag unless they plan on the troop being summonable (which it wouldn’t be at the moment). On the same token, I was hoping the one-shot step would make the bomb itself skip mana gathering from the explosions, since otherwise the red mana that is destroyed goes to the Bomb which immediately dies (like Bombot).
Shouldn’t his picture show him hunched over a keyboard with a bag of Cheetos handy?
