What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened?
Expecting- use ability. No purple gems on board- no target icon pops up with red sad face icon

Actual- game hangs as its expecting you to select a purple gem(with screen brightness at -50% (to help hide non purple gems) but as there are no purple gems on the board, you cant do anything.
forced to close game

What are the steps to make it happen again?
get rid of all purple gems and use sooth Sayer ability. Possibly the same with another new select this gem/skull troop added after Lamia

I agree here, I only got caught in it once but pairing Valkyrie and soothsayer can make games end with having to quit the app
