You’re getting the points, but the way it is displayed has evidently changed.
You have 520 + 275 + 1180 = 1975 points. To reach 2 gold stars requires 1700 points. To reach 3 gold stars is 2100. So you are currently 2 gold stars and 275/400 the way to 3rd. It is just a coincidence that your progress towards 3rd and your points from traits are the same.
