Since PQ3 was killed. Maybe its time to make Gems of war fully syned with consoles?

PQ3 had an amazing feature that allowed it to sync your account and progress between PC, mobile and consoles, it was great to play on the go and stay engaged with your guild/kingdom.

In Gems of war this doesn’t exist, well consoles have their own realm which breaks this completely.

Maybe its time to fix this…

PQ3 is done?

Unfortunately yes. They also discussed it on the PQ3 forum. No more seasons, no more achievements, kingdoms are getting deserted. Our own kingdom got empty as there was no goal anymore.

Shame

Yes it did. No more seasons and no more achievements, people deserting kingdoms as there is no goal anymore.

Then maybe those devs will join the two we’ve got

Vampire survivors

No sorry, they are going to some other quest like match 3 game under 505 Games.

As a fellow forums historian. Didn’t I predict years ago that GoW would outlive PQ3?

As it’s been explained before, the limitations for cross-play are not on our side (the studio) and was a limitation on the publishers side.
At the moment, there has been no plans to push for this again with the publishers.

Also, to be clear, PQ3 has cross play between PC/mobile/XBOX, there is no cross play on SONY and it’s not available on Switch.

And the team that works on PQ3 or MPQ, do not also work on Gems of War, and vice-versa.

Every game I’ve ever seen with Crossplay on Sony usually have their own dedicated server that you must log into. While you’re using your PSN subscription to get online, you still have to go through, for example “Capcom Fighting Network” to crossplay in Street Fighter 5 and 6.

I’d imagine for that to be implemented into Gems, a major infrastructure overhaul would be required.

I just wish I could get Gems of War supported on the Xbox Rog Ally X so I can play Gems of War Xbox on the go…
