What is gem lock, Ze?

I assume @ZeZign means to get long loops of turns by chaining 4 matches… Serpent spawns red to feed Valkyrie who morphs to blue to feed Serpent and so on… Each cast simplifies the board so you get more chains and 4 matches…

Farming teams have been around since aeons past based on this tactic… Alchemist/Valkyrie/Acolyte is an age-old example, there are many more…

Exactly! It’s a control deck that doesn’t let the opponent have a turn. My deck has 4 gem producers or converters and the longer played, the more surges gained. Once frozen comes in, I may add frost giant but who knows. It works great against most decks.

Im missing BD for a standart truedmg team, but with the help of @eika (thx for your tips)
i got a pretty fast team with

Centaur Scout***
Skeleton***
Sheggra
Stargazer***
and
Red/Brown Banner

with some lucky procs u can kill the entire team in your first turn.

Giants are fully traited (giant bond / big / stoneskin)

Good counter to Sheggra teams, but a bit on the slow side.

I only have a couple teams so far:

G/Y Banner

Knight Coronet ***
Dark Master **
Soothsayer ***
Lance Knight *

Sword’s Edge & Knight troop bonuses

Basically hit the front troops with the Knight Coronet, pick off weak enemies with the Dark Master. Lance Knight is there for the bonus and take abuse from those who attack the back.

R/Y banner

Soothsayer *** (I love this guy)
Valkyrie ***
Sunweaver *
Hydra

Wild Plains bonus

Fun team, I tend to play on Warlord III. Soothsayer is not the strongest card starting out, But he gets very big in short order. Valkyrie & Sunweaver you’re probably familiar with. Hydra provides kingdom bonus, tanks back row, provides a bit of extra punishment for teams that attack him.

Not a whole lot of strategy to this I suppose. Just build up a big ol’ Soothsayer and hammer the front enemy when skull opportunities arise. In the meantime, collect some souls as you go.

Have gone through everyone’s replies of individual troops and certain teams and was surprised at the lack of diversity.
Considering this, I’ve decided to post a marauder team that comprises of troops that haven’t had a singular mention :slightly_smiling:
Gnoll
Orc
Summoner
Gar’Nok

Admittedly, it’s best to have the first two troops traited out, although the Summoner and Gar’Nok can be left untraited. This will enable the Gnoll to get quite a high true-shot attack when invading (33 attk as shown below), easily being able to one-shot most troops (armoured troops being an exception).
The Orc is Agile, the Summoner can heal and summon (Jinx if traited so), and Gar’Nok to increase everyone’s attack (not that they need much more) and also will summon fodder.

This is not a team I use, just wanted to give some love to forgotten/unthought of troops. Here’s to your imagination :slightly_smiling:

i was looking at this and it is just … wow…

PS4 version

Hero - crude club
Brian
Acolyte
Gorgotha

Dwarven banner+2 brown, no team bonuses yet

I’m lvl 62, everyone on the team is lvl12+, trying to grind it up but now am running into competition and my win rate is dropping from like 90%>50% as opponents get harder, usually matching me with people double my lvl so the team has worked well up till now and when it wins it always wins really big with acolyte and or gorgotha clearing the board. Also am in love with Brian getting crude club up to 9 damage with one magic buff. Starting to get into Valkyrie teams for obvious reasons(Souls souls souls!)

I log in daily, about 290 trophies and 140,000 gold overall on my guild roster, 67 trophy/47,000 gold weekly for myself, looking for players to join up who want rise to the top of the chart. We started out place 10,000+ in February, now we’re place ~2200’ I’ve only got 3 peeps who are contributing to the guild, reply an invite code if you’re interested in joining. . . .TEAM BEZOAR!!! Look up bezoar

Mobile Platform

Slot 1: Behemoth lvl 19: brown/blue with trait 1 unlocked +2 atk for all troops when invading in pvp
Slot 2: Acolyte lvl 17: blue/purple with trait 1 unlocked bonus to brown gem matches
Slot 3: Wight lvl 16: blue/red with traits 1 and 2 unlocked bonus to blue gem matches and +4 life to Wight per opposing troop death
Slot 4: Nylonzo, Sun and Moon lvl 20 Sorcerer: purple/yellow with trait 1 unlocked bonus from purple gem matches

Undead Banner used +1 to blue and purple gem matches

Karakoth kingdom lvl 10: +10 purple gem masteries and +1 magic for all troops

Lord of Magic team bonus for 2 or more creatures from Karakoth (Acolyte & lvl 20 Sorcerer) +2 life for all troops

The traits unlocked speed up my mana gain, Acolyte makes brown which feeds Behemoth, Behemoth damages all troops and destroys 8 gems, Wight steals life and makes 5 purple to feed either Acolyte or Sun & Moon, Sun & Moon damages all troops and boosts each team members magic by 1 so each time it is cast each spell gets stronger in combo with the sped up mana gain it works out very well.

Also I use this team for my defense team and I get defense victories roughly 75% of the time in pvp.

I think they should also have a total in the pvp menu for Defense team wins and losses.
