PvP Season Ending Soon The final week of the Season of Night is upon us! This is your last chance to earn rewards from the Season Pass, Season Goals, or purchase a Premium Pass to earn some of the following rewards. Featured Immortal: Immortal Selene Once the Season ends, Selene’s Immortal Souls will only be…
We need at least 1 but preferably 2 weeks of peace between pvp seasons. A break would just be nice.
Seasonal Mythic: Reavnarokkr
Seasonal Legendary: Treviamus
Once the season ends, you will have to wait for about a year to find these troops in the soulforge.
There, I fixed it.
Once the season ends, you will have to wait for about a year to find these troops in the soulforge *if they remember to put it in the rotation.
Yeah, there’s a big “IF” in there. I mean, we still have not seen Kukulkan…from the 1st PvP season…
They should put an asterisk or some other symbol in the top right corner on these troops cards that reads, “only available in the soulforge once their pvp season ends.”
I’ll be pleasantly surprised if the PvP mythics have been put into the soul forge rotation.
What I expect to occur is that once the rotation ends, and we know it isn’t just bad luck that is keeping them from appearing, and that we know they were not put into the soul forge when they were supposed to be, that the community will post a new complaint and the response will be it was missed (despite the numerous posts about them).
I say the above because the CX team has had plenty of opportunities to confirm one or more of the PvP mythics are in the current soul forge cycle, but have elected not to respond on the matter.
Thats because I have never gotten confirmation of when they were going in.
My dry humor can only go so far. I have accepted the fact that I will have to wait for all of the 11 PvP seasons to end to actually start collecting the mythics from the PvP shop. (I encourage everyone to get silver marks and buy the legendary because you will never see them again).
We seriously need a patch that improves the soulforge: 8 mythics per week, better conversion rates, something to do with ingots and trait stones. Stuff like that. The game has grown too much and the soulforge is need of a new Smithy. Enough is enough.
Season of Ice (22-Jul-2024 to 7-Oct-2024). Kukulkan.
Season of Sand (7-Oct-2024 to 23-Dec-24). Ala Al-Din.
Season of Chaos (23-Dec-24 to 10-Mar-25). Bahamata.
Season of Night (10-Mar-25 to 26-May-25). Reavnarokkr.
As per the announcement for each season, the PvP Mythic should enter the Soul Forge rotation at the end of the campaign.
The current Soul Forge Cycle is 31-Mar-2025 to 17-Nov-2025.
This Soul Forge Cycle should include Kukulkan, Ala Al-Din and Bahamata.
On 7th October 2024, Kafka committed that the CX Team would let us know when PvP Mythics are added to the cycle. To date this has not happened (it should have occurred late March or early April as per Kafka’s statement).
It is a community manager’s responsibility to provide this sort of information to the player base. If you’ve provided the above quality of information to the Devs and they are not responding to you, then you need better support from the Devs.
Wonderful message Namour, very well written and documented, I can’t wait to know Jeto’s response when she receives the information from her management. In the 1st official post of the 1st mythic PvP, it was planned that it would be added AUTOMATICALLY to the next forging cycle, ditto for the following ones, I’m afraid that in November, we will realize that no one at their place pressed the “automatic” button, hoping that the first 3 mythics will be added manually soon if they really are not in this cycle 29.
This is something I have explained before, I have never gotten confirmation they are going in, because of this process.
I don’t know what information Kafka had, unless she was planning on literally checking the Soulforge every week and trying to post about it before other players saw it go live - but like I have explained, they are added automatically to the pool.
I have asked
- Can PvP troops have their own slot in the Soulforge so they aren’t in the already huge pool of Mythics
- Can we manually add them in for a time and then change them
So far, these are all QOLs with the team to look at in future. As I shared them again in April, while we were already deep into 8.5, there was no chance of these being implemented, even in the best case scenario.
We appreciate your efforts, Jeto, but as I mentioned before, I’m just going to wait after all of the 11 PvP seasons to end before I start to worry about them. There is also the fact that these “super mythics” can be shown in the drop pool, even when they are not technically available. This happened with Kukulkan during Suncrest a few months back, and it will happen again with Reavnarokkr next week for Maugrim Woods.
It’s hard to keep track of these things. Would it be possible to to put an asterisk or some other symbol on the upper right hand corner of the troop cards from the PvP shop to let players know that they won’t be able to get them from keys?
Have you ever waited for something you really wanted, but you couldn’t get it because it was never on sale? That’s what it has felt like with Kukulkan…for about 10 months…
Thank you Jeto, we appreciate all the huge communication efforts you are making, it’s great but your communication above means that the first 3 mythics are not in the pool of the mythic rotation forge, it takes 30 seconds for a computer scientist at your place to check where these 3 files are, so I deduce that currently this information is voluntarily hidden from the players. But your idea of making a manual addition and separating from the rotation is perhaps a good idea to explore, if the cost is reasonable and not crazy as currently in the PvP store. Jeto know that some of us spend a lot of time in PvP, we also spend money in the PvP store, it is also necessary that at some point your company makes a gesture towards the players for their investment of time and money in PvP and others. And whoever decided that a PvP mythical was worth 2500 gold marks is not polite to the players, it seems to me that I did the calculation at the time, the 2500 gold marks, represented a value of 65000 gems, which would be crazy enough to craft a mythical of 65000 gems in forge, or it would have to be totally exceptional, which is not the case currently, surely 3 mythicals that we will not release or almost not, just useful for the collection. In the coming days or weeks, we are listening to you when you have definitive information to reassure us and especially to reward us for supporting the game every week for players like me who always spend a little money with you every week, I do it with pleasure but there must also be a return from your company, trade is not one-way, thank you Jeto, wishing you a good day although it is already much later at your place in Australia.
