Upon logging in after weekly reset, a popup appeared saying that rewards had been sent to my mailbox (intended behavior per patch notes). No mail was received. In the Guild Wars menu there’s a button to claim rewards, but there’s no way to navigate to it using a controller.

and come on let’s be crazy, we continue to pile up the bugs, the others end of GW, so on Monday at the reset, we no longer had access to any tab, now the tabs have remained accessible, for that it’s very good but no more function is possible, you are truly an exceptional team in your way of working and anticipating things, to believe that every day you think about what new bug you could confront us with. Pull yourself together, react, hire staff, find solutions; all of this is no longer possible. Come on, we’re counting on you, courage to update this game in the coming weeks on all the existing problems. Your boss must take responsibility and put mega urgent actions in place.

I remember the last patch notes said they were letting us have access to GW menu for two days afterwards, to see stats and collect rewards, but if we didn’t collect them they’d be mailed out THEN. So, anyone not able to collect SHOULD get them in 2 days. Hopefully, we haven’t lost any rewards yet, it’s just annoying they added a 2 day wait for them.
But totally agree the number of bugs is insane. Every new update adds more and more, and most don’t seem to get fixed. And the fact it already says we’ve had the rewards sent, when we haven’t, means they didn’t update the guild wars info right either, and it makes it seem like they stole the rewards away from us. Fingers crossed they haven’t.

And of course, they might not answer for a day or two, since Jeto already mentioned their studio closed dates are happening now and are a bit all over the place. We’ll see if anything happens with this, or if they leave it and forget, then it happens again next war.
Now that it’s been 48 hours, the rewards are no longer showing in the GWs menu, and no mail was sent out by the system. So it looks like nobody on console received rewards for the last day.
Yeah, double checked the collected menu in mail, checked the GW menu, no rewards received and wasn’t able to claim them. So apparently we all missed out on our rewards. Hope they give us extra as compensation, because this is unacceptable.
As far as the button not being able to be selected, can I ask that as a fix, the collect rewards button gets a hotkey on consoles, so we always have a specific button we can press to claim the rewards, even if we can’t move over to the button? On Playstation, the right trigger is available, so I assume the same would be true for Xbox, and would be ideal for this. Just add it so we can tap that button and claim our rewards immediately, without having to move across to the button and then activate it.

What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:
At the end of an event, if you don’t claim your rewards, they are supposed to be mailed out to you. However, at the end of the recent guild wars event, everyone on console was unable to claim their rewards if they won on the final day, and these rewards have not been mailed out to us. Clearly the guild wars auto-mail system is bugged and needs to be fixed (as well as the button in the rewards menu needing to be fixed as a separate issue).

Steps to make it happen again
Play guild wars, win on the last day, get screwed over by a huge bug.

Grace Period: For 2 days after a Guild Wars ends, players will be able to collect their Daily War Rewards for the final day, as well as any uncollected personal Guild War rewards. Once the grace period ends, any uncollected rewards will be mailed out like normal.
Rewards would be mailed out from weekly reset tonight, for those who can’t claim them from the Guild Wars event menu.
Does anyone have a screenshot of this pop-up? Cos I don’t recall any new ones being implemented.
Or you shouldn’t get one until the 2 days after the event ends, when the mail is actually sent out.
Also, just cos it was mentioned in the 8.8 patch notes (quote above) but might not be clear.
The daily Victory rewards are mailed out if not collected the following day:
If you win on day 1 you can collect them on day 2, and if you don’t collect them, they’ll be mailed the following day - day 3.
Day 3 wins, if not collected on day 4, are mailed day 5
Day 4 Victory rewards (final day) can be collected for 2 days after the last War day - this is the new grace period
2 days after weekly reset, any uncollected rewards - the 4th day Victory rewards and the Win progress rewards - will be sent via mail
