New discovery:
To start, here is a successfully glitched map (this one’s from back in February, I think):
BUT, watch what we get if I edit the room cards out of the screenshot:

And how accurate are they to the correct map for the week? Well…
No joke, they are ONE HUNDRED PERCENT ACCURATE.
So yeah. If you can glitch the Underspire map across a weekly reset, then not only is this an “information leak” about the contents of individual rooms, the minimap leaks the actual layout room to room!
I was able to reproduce the glitch during this week’s reset (after a few flubbed attempts in previous weeks), and with the layout knowledge in mind I was able to make a direct beeline to the first (edit) 3 bosses on the map. No extraneous rooms battled whatsoever, 3 bosses down in just 36 Torches.
Other interesting notes:
- Notice the standard room one tile to the right of the green Sentinel room. Once the map has correctly synced, there appear to be no actual passages into this room, yet it has a battle defined regardless.
